Hazel's POV:

The Decorations group recived their budget and is currently debating on who was going to buy the materials.

And Hazel did not want to be it.

"Iris! Can you please do it?!" She asks her sister. Iris groans.

"Why do I have to do it?" She asks her.

"Because Nate and I have a date today!"

Hearing that makes Iris groan even more. "You see him everyday for God's sake!"

"But he said it's a date!"

"Then just go on the bloody date after you get the materials! It's not that hard!" She scowls.

Hazel, who really doesn't want to miss the date, thinks fast for a bargain she wouldn't say no to.
"If you buy the materials, I'll buy that food you love for a whole month everyday!"

Iris raises a brow at her. "And the TV?"

She sighs. "Yes! And the TV!" That made her give in. "Fine I'll do it."

Hazel squeals for joy and hugs her sister tightly. Iris couldn't breath, and is trying to escape the death hug speaks up. "Hazel. Can't breath here."

Realizing she was making it harder for her to breath, she pulls away immediately. "Sorry."

But then Iris sighs. "Does it really have to be today?" She asks. "Can't it be on a different day?"

Hazel shakes her head. "No, it has to be today. We start making them after tomorrow and we're gonna buy our dresses with Ammie tomorrow."

She sighs again. "Alright." She groans.

"Plus your not going to be the only one who'll be buying," she adds. "Mr. Reed will come with you." That makes her stiffen.

Seeing this, Hazel became worried. "What's wrong? You don't like the teacher?"

"No no, it's not that." She says, then she shakes her head. "Actually, its nothing really. I'll buy the materials, don't worry."

Hazel, unsure of what's going on, decides to just nod along. "Alright then, I'll be heading out now. You have your car keys right?" She nods in response. "Alright."

She hands her a list of materials. "So here's the list of materials we need. I didn't write the materials for the fountain because I don't really know what you need for that, is that okay?" She nods again. "I could handle getting them." Iris tells her.

Hazel smiles big. "Okay great, I'll see you later." She stands up from the bleacher seat she was sitting on and heads out of the gym to see Nate waiting for her.

"You ready?" He asks her.

"Yeah. And this better be something good and worth spending money and TV on Iris for a month." She teases him.

"Don't worry, potato. You'll love it."

Iris' POV:
After her sister left, Iris read the paper, and damn it was long, she thought.

*Black and White feathers
*Black and White silk cloths
*Black and White matte cloths
*Black and White round balloons
*Black and White long balloos
*Black and White Crepe paper
*Black and White Japanese paper
*String
The list went on and on. Iris sighed, and secretly hated herself for giving into the food and TV.

"C'mon Iris." She mutters to herself. "Do it for the food."

She reads the list over and over again. Most of the list starts with 'Black and White'. She laughs at her sister's specific-ness. Then, she heard footsteps approaching. "Sorry I'm late." Alec starts. "Teacher's meeting." He sits down beside her.
