Third Person's POV:
The three girls gather outside the gym, by the parking lot for prom dress shopping.
"I shall drive." Iris announces while Iris was driving, Ammie butts in and say
"Can we pleasssseeeee go somewhere to eat with cake?"
"Seriously?" Hazel says
"It will be a quick snack I promise, the meeting was soo tiring." Ammie says
"Sure thing boss." Iris jokes and makes a turn
The three of them goes to the nearest shop. Ammie takes a quick snack.
"Let's hurrrryyyyyyy!!" Hazel screams with impatience
"The wait is killing me!" She exclaims
"Wait, wait. Lemme enjoy my cake." Ammie says
"So how was the date?" Iris asks Hazel
"It was the best, night picnic, a movie, and he quote the fault in our stars while we drank. He's the best guy ever. It was so perfect. I loved it." Hazel says with full emotion
"Damn, you must had a lot of fun." Iris says
"About you Ammie, how's Jonathan?" Hazel asks
Ammie almost chokes on her cake when Hazel suddenly asks the question.
"We....- we're good. He went to my house in the middle of the night since he got into a fight. Then I cooked for him." Ammie was straight to the point
"That's all?" Hazel asks, she had a feeling there was more than that
"Yes." Ammie replies
Ammie had confused feelings, like when her heart would suddenly beat faster, and she would suddenly feel happy around him. It was complicated. She couldn't explain whatever those stuff she felt were.
"About you? Iris? No one special?" Hazel popped the word, special.
"Pshhh... No" Iris replies with doubt in her tone
Every time Hazel needs the truth all she would do is stare and give her straight no emotion face.
"Well..." Iris says
"Well...?!" Hazel says with excitement
"Ehh not really." Iris says with a hand gesture
"Pfft I know there is." Hazel winks at her
Hazel knew her sister, Iris well enough.
"Let's go girls!" Ammie whoops
After few minutes, Iris drives them to the nearest mall. Hazel drags both of them to the gown/ formal section of the mall.
"This willll beeee funnnn!!" Hazel squeals
The girls go to different directions finding the right dress. So far, Ammie got a one shoulder blue gown with silver embroideries while Iris was still having a difficult time to choose. Hazel pats Iris at the back and hands her a white off the shoulder gown. Hazel knows well enough that the dress will look good on her... Hopefully. Hazel gives Iris a reassuring smile. Ammie calls for Hazel and shows her a very detailed, well sequined white and gold dress. Hazel's jaw drops. She immediately runs to Ammie and hugs her.
"Oh my... This dress is so gorgeous." Hazel says in awe
Her sudden excitement was ruined when she looks at the price tag.
"Damnnn." Ammie says looking at the price tag
"Totally out of my budget." Hazel says sadly
Ammie helps Hazel in finding a gown while Iris was admiring the white off the shoulder gown. Iris was wondering if that kind of dress would ever actually look good on her. While Hazel found nothing so far. After few times roaming around the store Ammie finally found something. Few minutes later Hazel finally comes to them with a huge grin.
"Let's fit this!!" She squeals
Hazel picks a simple black gown with beads on the chest part showing some shine. Hazel smiles proudly while she was wearing. Definitely my dress, she mutters to herself. Her thoughts were interrupted when Iris calls for Hazel. Hazel was in awe when she saw Iris.
"Iris..." She was speechless
"You look amazing." Hazel says with all sincerity
Iris smiles and says a thank you.
"Now Ammie is just missing." She grins
"This isn't easy to fit guys, just a bit."
Ammie says when she overheard their conversation.
Ammie goes out and the rest of the girls grins. They all had a good feeling about prom night. They stare at the mirror, Ammie with her long flowing dark blue dress with sequins on top of the waist, Iris with the elegant simple white off the shoulder with sequins at the waist and Hazel with her black gown with some sequins on the top. They all grin, hold hands and enjoy the moment that they all truly look like princesses.
