Hazel's POV:
"Hazel, how much longer do we have to review?" Nate whines.
Their finals test was about to begin in a few minutes, and Hazel insisted on reviewing Nate. "Babe, just a few more." She tells him, and he groans.
"But potato!" He whines.
She tries to think of a way to get him to review. Then, she had an idea.
"For every question you get right, you get a kiss." She smirks.
Hearing this, he became more alert. "Hit me with your best shot." He grins. She rolls her eyes playfully and begins as she saw Iris walk in the classroom holding coffee cup.
"Hey Iris." She greeted her. "Was the line long?"
"Hella long. They had to refil the bloody machine." She grumbles. She sets down the coffee cup on the table, then peeks at the papers Hazel's holding.
"Whatcha doing?" She asks her, when she saw the topic on the paper. She groans at her sister. "Really?"
"What? It's important for us to pass the test!" She insists.
Iris sighs and slumps back on her chair, when Brandon and Ammie walk into the room, arguing.
"Brandon! Why are you acting like that around Jonathan?"
"Why? Is it wrong for me to look after my friends? Ammie I know how he's like!" He insists. She shakes her head.
"Brandon! You have to understand that I trust Jonathan! And I know much more than what you do!" She scowls.
Hazel, Nate and Iris stand up to calm down the two people. Iris was holding back Ammie and Nate was holding back Brandon.
"Both of you stop!" Hazel demands. The two friends go silent, still mad at each other. Hazel faces Brandon, "Brandon, you have to respect Ammie's trust for Jonathan. She's good friends with him." Then she turns to Ammie, "Ammie, Brandon's just worried that he'll do something to you because he doesn't know him like you do. You have to consider that."
They look down at their feet, mumbling stuff Hazel could't hear. "Now, both of you apologize to each other." She tells them.
"I'm sorry." She mumbles.
"Sorry," he mutters.
Feeling satisfied with the reactions, Hazel smiles brightly. Another job well done, she thought to her self.
--------
Iris'POV:After the little fight Brandon and Ammie had. Iris was filled with relief when it ended. One, was because Brandon was scary when he's mad and two, she didn't like sensing the emotion coming from the two as well.
They all took their seats. Hazel continued to tortu-review Nate, Ammie and Brandon having an awkward conversation, and Iris just relaxing with her coffee cup. When she was done, she threw the covered cup from a distance. Lucky for her, it went in. Silently proud of herself, she observes all of her friends. She looks over at Hazel, who is giving Nate a long and passionate kiss. She shudders, but feels the happiness her sister felt.
She looks at Ammie and Brandon, who are having a conversation about Jonathan. Ammie was glowing when she was talking about Jonathan to Brandon and Brandon was just happy to see his friend happy. She feels the happiness raidiating over the two girls, but wonders what it's really like to feel that way.
"Good morning class." The teacher walks in. When Iris looks at who the teacher was, her eyes widened. "My name is Mr. Alec Reed. I'll be your substitute for your test today." Then he looks at her. "I trust you'll do your best."
