We were an army of zombies. Sleep-deprived, dysfunctional zombies.
"Hey remedial group, keep at it!" Aizawa shouted, shocking me out of my zombie-like state.
I had already been chewed out for being late to the extra lessons, I didn't need any more of this sass from Aizawa. And I didn't see the point in those lessons last night. I was too preoccupied with what Kota had shouted at me last night.
"Who knew that yesterday's extra lessons would go on until two in the morning?" whined Kirishima.
"And then start back up at seven," Sato continued.
"I told you it'd be tough. Remember, you're not just improving your quirks, you're also working to overcome the many weaknesses I saw in the finals. Think carefully about why you're more tired than the others before you start whining." He sent his scarf to wrap around Kirishima's tilting head. "You have much to improve here." He pulled his scarf so that Kiri would be brought to the ground.
Aizawa turned around to see the pair behind him.
"Uraraka, Aoyama, your team didn't fail but you were very close. I'd say you passed the proverbial finish line by only a hair."
He was not leaving anyone alone today, was he?
"Don't lose focus," he addressed us all now. "Each of you can move faster. And no matter what you're doing, just remember where you started from. Don't forget who you were before UA. Always keep in mind why you're sweating and why your limits keep getting tested. That's what it means to improve."
As everyone else began their training, I decided it would be a good time to approach Aizawa with some questions.
"Sir, will Toshi-san be coming to supervise at any point?" I asked.
Midoriya appeared beside me. "Yeah, will - um... any other teachers be coming to help? It's already the third day at camp."
Don't worry Midoriya, we all know who you mean. I looked expectantly at Aizawa.
"Weren't you listening? Stay focused. And like I said before we came out here. To keep the camp a secret from the villains, hardly anyone knows where we are." Aizawa explained.
"That's why you get to work out with us four Pussycats!" shouted Ragdoll.
I sighed loudly. "It's not like Toshi-san would tell the villains where we are, can we bring him over here? I miss him." I whined.
"Y/n, you should be focusing on strengthening your quirk. Are you going to be using your quirk like I asked yesterday?" he asked.
I shot a glare at him.
"Fine then. Go on your run again but only bring half as much water as you did yesterday," he directed, "You can practice working with less water than you are comfortable with.
"Fine then!" I mocked as I jogged away.
"I said run, Y/n, not jog. Pick up the pace!" demanded Aizawa. This is torture.
I groaned as loudly as I could to make him feel bad as I sprinted into the forest.
Time Skip
I fell down a mountain.
But that's completely fine! Because only my ego was bruised. And my ribs. And as I looked down at my arms and legs, small scratches were littered everywhere.
Once again! I had escaped with my stolen-
I felt a hand grip my t-shirt and firmly spin me around. "What do you think you're doing?" a familiar rough voice questioned.
