The pain in my head was worse than before, the loud incoherent yelling around me wasn't making it better.

As my eyes fluttered open, I realised that someone's shoulder was digging into my stomach, I was almost upside down. I still had Kota's hat on and my face was resting against this person's back but in my peripherals I could see a familiar purple mist.

As the fogginess in my mind began to clear, I heard someone beside me.

"... If I'm flaunting something shiny, it's because I have something else that I don't want you to see."

"Is that my ice?" Todoroki was somewhere nearby.

"During the freezing attack, I prepared dummies and slipped them into my right pocket," the voice explained.

"Damnit!" Midoriya was here too.

"A little bit of misdirection, forgive me. I do so adore a twist ending." This guy was beginning to annoy me.

Whoever was holding me began to step backwards into the mist.

Suddenly there was a noise that I couldn't identify that came very close to me.

There was an audible scramble to me.

The person holding me jolted forward and I slipped off of their shoulder.

I barely landed on my feet. I was very wobbly and my arms were out in an attempt at balance.

I gripped onto Kota's hat and squeezed my eyes shut as my head throbbed.

"Y/n!" Midoriya screamed.

I shakily turned around and whispered, "Where's Kota."

Slowly my eyes opened to assess the situation but a small gasp escaped my mouth as I found that I was staring into the bright turquoise eyes that had put me to sleep who knows how long ago. I noticed the immense amount of dark purple, painful looking scar tissue that covered his face.

"Maybe one of us managed to finish this Kota off," he smirked as he stood straight and tried to grab me again.

The familiar feeling of anger consumed me.

How dare he.

I let out a blood curdling screech and used all of my force to slam my head into his body.

I felt the pressure from the two horns on Kota's hat as they dug into his chest.

The villain let out a loud scream of pain and shoved my back. As his hands made contact with my bare arms, there was an unbearable raise in temperature.

I couldn't even scream. In my already unbalanced state, I was extremely easily knocked to the ground. As I crashed down, I was unable to protect my head.

Nausea bubbled up inside of me as my attempts to regain my bearings failed. My head fell to face the villains, I didn't even try to look at my arms for fear of what the injury looked like.

The purple scar guy was clutching his chest and out of nowhere, Bakugo appeared in front of him. Purple scar guy was holding him by the neck while dragging him into the mist.

"Bakugo..." My voice was weak so I could only muster up enough energy to whisper.

The smoke engulfed them and the last thing I saw before I passed out from the pain was the villains disappearing with Bakugo.

Time Skip

I don't know how much time has passed. I only know from the dark sky outside that it's night.

I was too confused by the time I woke up in the hospital. But as I lay here on the uncomfortable mattress of the hospital, swaddled in many soft blankets that hid my bandages, ignoring the pain from my burned arms and the persistent headache, I felt fine.
