"Nhi ho raha hai" Aadhya huffed , giving up the attempt to button up her blouse.
"Iss ghar me to bas issi naap ka blouse hai.Mai bazar se aapke maap ka le kar aati hu" Koyeli spoke.
"Aur tab tak Mai kya karungi" Aadhya spoke from inside the bathroom.
"Aap yahi intezar kijega" At Koyeli's suggestion Aadhya looked her state. She was in bathroom of a man ,with her blood stained clothes discarded at floor. On her body only peticot can be considered as decent. The day couldn't be any worse.
"Aap chinta mat kijiye. Jab tak aap bahar nhi aati ,iss taraf koi nhi aayega. Meri garantee hai" Koyeli had barely completed her sentence when they heard a knock on the door.
"Koi jaruri kaam hoga" Koyeli defended herself looking towards the closed door of bathroom.
On the other side, Aadhya felt like crying, her eyes already tearing up. After a while she heard a knock on the washroom.
"Barrister Babu aapke liye kapde de kar gaye hai" Koyeli's voice came from another side.
She walked towards the door and open it slightly, just enough to take clothes. She expected the clothes to be set of saree but there she was holding pair of a man's clothes. She was hesitant at first but then She looked at the clothes and then at herself. Something is better than nothing.
With a defeated sigh, she picked the shirt and something fell down, something wrapped in polythene. She bent down and picked the polythene. She opened the polythene. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw a sanitary napkin .By the look , it looked like it was made at home. Along with that , there was note in the bag. She took it out and read it.
"Janta tha ki bina dekhe hi kapde jhatkogi tum, isliye polythene me rakh kar de raha hu. Agar phir bhi pad bahar gir jaye to istemal mat karna. Koyeli ko mujhe bulane bhej dena mai dusri bhej dunga. Sankoch mat karna."
She looked at note and then at the pad and clothes in her hand. Her eyes becomes wet , her heart overwhelmed from unfathomable emotions.
After changing into his clothes, Aadhya stepped out from the washroom, still hesitant to face anyone in the house. She just wanted to run away from there.
All thanks to this clothes
She had been wearing sarees since the day she arrived in India. Though In London she wore Western clothes but they were made for female not of male.
Luckily, there was no one in the room so she sneaked out making sure that noone is around. Passing through the corridors, she peeked a glance in study of Anirudh. The room was empty but there was his spectacles on the table.
Suddenly her heart turned mischievous, forgetting about the warning sign that her mind has been sending to her.
Why to hear the mind when it is already damaged?
She sneaked into the study looking around to make sure that no one is looking. Walking towards table , she picked up her spectacles and wore it.She cleared her throat, keeping her back stiff. Her demnour resembling that of Anirudh.
"Janab" She spoke , looking up at the wall as if someone is sitting there . Her voice deliberately hoarse, a failed attempt to mimic man's voice.
"Jo kanun janta ko nyay nhi dilwa sakta.Kamjoro per julm aur shaktishali per reham karta hai agar aaisa kanun hai bhi to fyada aaise kanun ka....." She paced trying to mimic action of Anirudh while speaking.
Anirudh's legs halted hearing a familiar voice coming from study. His legs automatically took him towards the sound . However instead of going towards the door , he preferred the window. Slightly pushing the window door , he peeked inside.
