"Koi hai kya andar" Kalindi's voice came from other side. Aadhya and Anirudh exchange glances, their face were itched with worry.
Aadhya looked at Anirudh. Her heart was thudding from fear of embarrassment. What if Thaku Maa would see them together.
Anirudh signalled her to reply.
"Ha, Thaku Maa. Mai hu kapde check kar rahi hu" Aadhya spoke with her eyes fixed at Anirudh who were looking around in hope to find any way to escape. Though his each attempt was futile.
"Achcha thik hai ." Kalindi replied and Aadhya took a deep breath.
"Ab hum kya karenge" Aadhya whispered. "Maine kaha tha mat aaiye per nhi ..."
"Aadhya .." Voice of Kalindi came again." Koi aur bhi hai kya tumhare saath."
Aadhya was going to deny but signalled her to nod while his eyes noticed bag of fruits.
"Ha.." Aadhya replied uncertainly still wondering what was he thinking
"Mai hu Rupa " Anirudh spoke. His voice shrill mirroring a female voice while Aadhya's jaw dropped
" Saari badhne me madat kar rahi hu" Anirudh spoke and started unbuttoning his shirt.
"Kya kar rahe hai aap" Aadhya shrieked in panic halting Anirudh in middle. It took a second for him to realise the reason for Aadhya's reaction.
He is habituated of changing in front of Bondita. But Aadhya was not habituated of seeing him change
He signalled her to turn around.Aadhya followed. For extra layer of protection she even closed her eyes.
Though the embarrassment didn't lessen.
Her mind automatically thinks about her faceless husband. Is this situation count as cheating?
"Dugga Maa, Aap janti ho na ye sab jaan kar nhi ho raha hai. Paristhiti aap hi ne paida ki hai. Ab nikalo yaha se" Her prayer was interrupted by a tap on her shoulder.
She was going to turn but Anirudh stopped her and forwarded his shirt towards him.
She held it unsure what to do about it. Soon his trousers followed.
"Mujhe kyu de rahe aap ye" She whispered, still flabbergasted from everything.
"Bag me daalo , chhupa kar" Anirudh instructed. Aadhya followed.
"Palto ab" Anirudh spoke. Aadhya turned around only to find Anirudh standing in front of her in red saree.
"Pehchan me aa raha hu?" He asked.
"Puri tarah" She replied." Sari pehan lene se chehra thodi badal jayega"
