Aadhya entered the court holding files in her hand. Her each step was steady and determined though her heart trembles with storm brewing inside her. She held the door of Anirudh's cabin. For a moment, she paused unsure whether she could face him or not. But then she drew a deep breath and step inside masking her face with forced nonchalance. Though the scene inside the cabin made her frown.

Anirudh was throwing himself on his chair that kept rotating from left to right while humming some Bengali song. His eyes are fixed at a paper on his hand while another hand was drumming softly against the table.

Sensing her presence Anirudh stopped and looked up at her. His songs seized though his demeanor remain same. She stepped forward with confusion written on her face.

"Kya baat hai aap bahut khush lag rahe hai" She asked. She didn't know why but she got the instinct that this happiness is something unusual especially for herself.

"Nhi to" He grinned ear to ear while he replied.

She looked pointedly at his grinning face before letting it go aside. Afterall she was determined to remain in professional boundary. So whatever was the reason of his happiness, it was not of her concern.

"Ye hearing ke liye maine kuch dalile taiyar ki hai. Ek baar padh lijiye. " She spoke forwarding file towards him.

Anirudh took the file and kept it on the table.

"Padh to maine liya" With smile intact on his face, he stood up.

"Maine abhi abhi file di hai aapko.Pehle se kaise...." She couldn't complete her sentence as he put an envelope on the table with loud thud. Her senses flooded with recognition- the letter that she had written for him.

She raised her hand and reach for the letter. Her hand could only brush the paper before he secured it in his hand.

"Aap ...aap aaise kisi aur ka khat nhi padh sakte hai" Her voice was mixed with embarassment, urgency and accusations.

"Ye khat mujhe likha gya tha, Aadhya" Anirudh spoke calmly. His eyes shone with amusement and mischief.

"Nhi ..Aapko nhi likha tha maine" She spoke hastily.

"Diya to mujhe hi tha"

"Galti se chala gya tha. Ye...Kisi aur ke liye tha..." She blurted without thinking twice.

"Sakha Babu..." He spoke.

"Koi aur bhi to mera sakha ho sakta hai na"  She answered.

"Per Bondita to sirf meri Patni ho sakti hai na" He spoke while walking around the table

"Mujhe aaj ghar jaldi jaana hai". She spoke without looking at him and turned on her heels. Aware from her every antic, he held her wrist halting her in middle. She turned towards him. His eyes travelling from his face towards his hand. He slowly left her hand.

"Rishte ke liye inkar kyu kiya?" He asked clearly.

"Inkar kiya. Itna kafi nhi hai" She asked.

"Tha. Jab tak tumhara khat nhi mila tha..."

"Khat me bakwas likha hai"

"Bakwas likhne ka kaaran..."

"Dimag kharab ho gya tha mera".

"Aur kitne logo ke liye aaise bakwas likha hai tumne"

"Aapko aaisi lagti hu mai"

"To iska matlab hai ki ye bakwas sirf mujhe likha hai tumne" He asked while she looked away nervously. "Kyu mana kiya hai Shaadi ko?Pasand nhi mai tumhe?"
