Lexi's POV:
"What did you just say?" I asked just before I slipped on an oversize t-shirt.
Zayn brought his legs over to the edge of the bed and stood up. Zayn slipped on his boxers on and ran his hands threw his hair quickly. He walked towards me and stopped when he was so close that I could feel his breath on my face.
I looked up to his amber eyes as he looked down to me. "I said, what if it wasn't just meaningless sex to me."
I took in a shaky breath before answering him. "Sex is always meaningless, Zayn."
"You can't seriously tell me that what happened last night didn't mean anything to you" He said with anger in his voice.
Last night was different. Whether it was a good different or a bad different, I don't know. All I know for sure was that last night wasn't my usual shag.
"What do you want me to tell you Zayn?" I said stepping back from him a bit. "Do you want to tell you that last night meant something? Do you want me to tell you that last night was completely different from all my other shags I've ever had?"
"Yes!" He shouted. "That's what I want you to tell me-"
"I can't!" I shouted back. He was taken aback by the outburst but j needed to make it clear to him. "Sex will never mean anything! It can never mean anything! If sex means something then it means feelings are there and if feelings are there then they become relationships and I will never be in a relationship! I don't do relationships!!"
His expression softened and move closer to me. His eyes were boring into my own. "Why Lexi? Why does it mean nothing to you?"
I sighed and moved to the edge of the bed. I motioned to Zayn to sit on the edge of the bed with me.
There was no avoiding this conversation. In order for him to understand I needed my secret to come out.
I rotated my body a bit so I was facing him. "Zayn. I'm going to tell you something about my past that has to stay between us okay? After I tell you you have to forget this conversation ever happened and we go back to our normal teasing and bickering okay?"
I could tell he was confused but he nodded. I needed to tell him this so he could understand but I also wanted him to forget it so he would think of me differently.
I cleared my throat, looked into Zayn's eyes and started to speak.
"All through elementary school I was loser. I would get beaten and bullied for the smallest things. My parents didn't care, they bearely even acknowledged my existance. I told myself that I was going to change and I did. I lost a lot of weight so I became toned. I started to exercise alot and eat healthy. Instead of sweats and baggy shirts I wore short shorts and tight tops."
I didn't move my gaze from Zaybs the entire time I spoke. He watched me intently, soaking up everything I said.
"I became known as the Cheeky Bitch in high school because I was a bitch to everyone who used to bully me and I used to sleep around a lot. Since the girls hated me, I would always hang out with the guys. I got along best with guys." I said with a smirk.
Zayn let out a small chuckle as I paused. This part was hard to speak about. I might seem like a bitch on the outside but I do have feelings. I am human after all.
I had a hard time forming my words when the memories from my past came flooding back. Zayn placed his hands on mine. I looked up at him from the stare at my hands and gave him a weak smile.
