Beep!

Beep!

Beep!

Beep!

My eyelids started to flutter open. Everything was blurry. I was lying down on a bed propped up as far as I could tell.

Where am I, I wondered.

I tried to sit up, but pain shot through me. I collapsed back into the bed. My vision soon started to clear up. I saw someone in a labcoat with his'(or her's) back turned.

"Excuse me?" I croaked.

My throat was strangely dry. I just recently used it though I thought.

The person turned around startled. It was a lady apparently.

"You're awake!" she screamed.

I gave her a confused look.

She ran out of the room screaming, "She's awake!"

This is seriously weird I thought.

Soon five other lab coats came in. I only heard snippets of the conversation.

"She's awake!" cried one.

"We have to call her parents!" yelled another.

"It's a miracle!" screamed someone.

Wasn't I just in the ocean fighting the Black Demon I wondered.

"Hello?" I croaked again.

They soon realized I was in the room.

"Hello Sarah." one lab coat said speaking slowly.

"I'm not deaf or stupid." I snapped.

I then started coughing. Everything hurts.

Why does everything hurt I wondered.

"I'm sorry... it's just..." the lab coat started.

He looked at the others for help.

"Well?" I demanded.

I may not know what is going on, but I haven't lost my attitude.

This time a different lab coat lady stepped forward.

"You see Sarah... you've been in a coma for three months." she broke the news.

I stood opened mouth.

"She's going into shock! Hurry get the..." one of the lab coats started.

"I'm fine." I snapped.

They all sighed in relief.

"What is going on?" I demanded.

The original lab coat came in front of me.

"Sarah, I'm Dr. Snip." she explained calmly. "You have been in a coma for three months after being in an shark attack. We have kept you on the tube for a long time. A life guard saw you droning and saved you. However he couldn't save all of you. You lost most of your right leg. You are in California Hospital Medical Center."

"That can't be..." I started then realization dawned on me.

That whole adventure has been a dream. Sabrina never died or was real.

I sighed in relief.

"What about my leg though?" I questioned.

"Look for yourself." she replied simply.

I pulled back my covers and was startled to see my leg whole and there.

"I thought you said it was gone." I recalled.
