I woke up dazed and tied up.

"What's going on?" I gurgled.

"Mermaids." Mako bitterly muttered.

"Mermaids?" I asked confused.

The memory then came back to me about what happened.

"Rotten mermaids. What knocked us out?" I questioned.

"A dart." Mako stated.

"Where's Sabrina?" I asked.

"Behind you. Still knocked out." Mako said.

"Sabrina." I hissed nudging her with my shoulder. "Sabrina."

"What?" she said groggily.

"We're trapped. Look around." I whispered.

"What are we going to do?" Sabrina asked.

"You won't be doing anything." said a voice stepping out from the darkness.

"Hope you are enjoying your stay in my little cave. As you may have noticed I have taken your bags." the mermaid stated.

Apparently I'm not that good at noticing things I thought.

"You're a mermaid!" I said surprised.

"Merman and you're a sharknite." he said bitterly.

"What do you want?" I questioned.

"No particular reason. Just bad blood between us." the merman said plainly.

"Wacko." I muttered.

That got me a slap from his tail.

"I have ears you know." he sneered.

"Well, what's your name merman." Sabrina spat back.

"Well sharknite I don't think you need to know that." the merman taunted.

"Why you dirty..." Mako began.

"Nuh, uh, uh. I don't think that would be wise sharknite. You see I have the upper hand here. I have your weapons, I have you tied up." he taunted grabbing a knife nearby.

Mako growled.

The merman pressed the knife point to Mako's nose then backed away.

"I don't think you want anything to happen to your friends here." he continued passing the knife between his hands.

Mako grimaced then sighed.

"What are you going to do with us?" I questioned.

"Why, I haven't decided. Maybe jellyfish poison or perhaps maybe throw you into a underwater gizer. Which sounds better to you?" he sneered.

"Maybe for you." I spat.

"So confident for someone I could kill right now." he said and lunged with the knife mere inches away from my face.

"But where is the fun in that?" stepping back.

"You are sick you know?" I snarled.

That got me another slap from his tail.

"Oh, but it is you who is sick. You aren't whole. You are half a being." he sneered.

"What are we getting to eat?" asked Sabrina.

"Well, I will have your food and you will have nothing. Sharks don't have to eat for 3 months." he decided.

"Nice host." I chided.
