Surprisingly I was able to fall asleep even after being asleep for three months. However, my dreams were less than pleasant. They drifted back to the world I once thought was real. The dream seemed to continue from where I left off. The Black Demon seemed to be circling me.

"Hello S-s-sarah." he hissed.

I tried to move away, but instead I ran into a plastic like substance.

"Oh. So you are dreaming now aren't you." he concluded. "Well you are actually dreaming within your dream I gues-s-s-s."

I pressed against the wall.

"It's hopeless S-s-sarah. I have put you in a indestructible sphere, s-s-so I can unlock your full potential. I have put you in a dream s-s-so I can understand you much better." the Black Demon explained.

I glared at him.

"Don't be like that. I haven't harmed you... yet. You can only move though if you are dreaming within your dream. Confusing right?" he admitted.

I tried to move my mouth to talk, but no sound came out.

"That's-s-s the amazing part. You can't s-s-speak! Makes-s-s this-s-s s-s-so much easier." he cackled.

Can sea monsters cackle I wondered.

"Yes we can." he inputted.

Oh right. He can read thoughts I remembered. This is basically talking to him though I realized.

"Oh no." he muttered.

So Mr. Black Demon, I am only dreaming that this whole adventure was a dream and I was in a coma the whole time I thought to him.

"Technically yes-s-s, but you will never find a way out." he sneered.

Everything started to blur.

"Looks-s-s like you are waking up. S-s-see ya S-s-sarah." he hissed.

Everything started to blur, swirl, and vanish. Then, I saw the light.

I woke up panting in fear. I tried to calm myself down.

That can be real. It's just another dream I thought.

I stopped panting and looked around the room. It was bright with sunlight shining through the window. Next to me was an empty bed.

How many other people have sat in that bed while I slept I wondered.

The door soon creaked in and Dr. Snip tiptoed in. She turned my way and looked surprised to see me.

"Oh! Hi Sarah. I thought you must still be sleeping. I forgot you were out of your coma." Dr. Snip explained.

"What time is it?" I questioned.

"Um," she looked at her watch. "Almost eleven."

Really self? I was just in a coma I thought.

"What are you doing here?" I demanded.

"I was going to take another look at your charts." she answered. "How about some breakfast?"

Dr. Snip walked over to my bed and picked up my chart. As she examined it I thought about what I would want.

Real food! I feel like I have only been eating sea food I thought.

Then, I remembered it was only a dream. An illusion.

Or is this the dream I wondered.

I recalled the dream I had with the Black Demon. He said I am sleeping in a sphere, so he can study me.

"Sarah?" Dr. Snip asked snapping me back to reality. "What would you like?"

"Fish and shrimp." I answered automatically.

"That's a strange breakfast." she laughed.

I blushed.

"Sorry. I had a dream about having it." I explained.

"So then what would you really like then?" Dr. Snip questioned.

"French toast with milk. Can I get some syrup and butter too?" I replied.

"Sure Sarah. This is your first meal after all." she chirped.

She set my chart down and walked out of the room. The door closed silently behind her.

Now what did the Black Demon say about waking up from this dream I wondered. Oh yeah. There is no way out.

I sighed.

Today I'm supposed to go home. Great I thought. On the other hand if this isn't real I'm going home to a fake family I reasoned with myself.

This is why again I should never be left to my own thoughts.

This all may not be real on the other hand, because he could have read my mind and taken the knowledge I have to create all of this I thought.

I put my hands on my head.

"Stop thinking Sarah!" I muttered.

I waited annoyed with my thoughts and wonders.

Knock, knock!

"Finally." I mumbled.

The door opened and Dr. Snip entered with a tray of food.

"Here you go Sarah." she said and handed me the tray.

I grabbed the trade and started to gobble it all down.

"Slow down." she laughed. "You don't want to choke."

"I'm hungry. I have been asleep for three months." I countered.

Have I really I wondered.

"Then eat away." Dr. Snip told me. "By the way Sarah, your parents will be here soon."

I nearly choked.

"Gah! Gah!" I gagged and coughed.

"Oh no!" cried Dr. Snip.

She rushed forward and started to pat my back. I kept trying to swat her away. I finally managed to swallow it down.

"Ugh." I gasped and laid back down.

Dr. Snip set the tray on the table next to me.

"Not the best topic I am guessing." she concluded.

I shook my head.

"Family troubles?" she guessed.

I shrugged.

"Well, I'll just leave you to it then." Dr. Snip decided.

She got up and left the room once more. The door closed behind and I was again left to my nerve racking thoughts.
