I spent the day living in the moment. Didn't help though I lived with Amya. Won't be missing that. The very next day the king kept to his word. The king appeared personally to talk to my guardians.

Knock, knock.

"Wonder who that could be?" Mr.Quake muttered.

He opened the door and there stood King Trident. Mr. Quake stood gaping at the royal ruler standing in front of him.

"Julia! Get in here!" Mr. Quake called.

"What is it dear?" Mrs. Quake said and stopped in her tracks.

Mrs. Quake now was staring at the king now.

"May I come in?" King Trident inquired.

"Of course my king." stammered Mr. Quake.

King Trident stepped into the house and prepared his speech.

"Hello Mrs. and Mr. Quake. I think Sarah may have told you, but she has an important job that she had to do for me." the king stated.

"Sarah!" Mrs. Quake yelled.

King Trident winced. This wasn't exactly going as he thought.

"Yeah?" I said feebly coming into the room.

"Did you forget to mention something to us?" Mr. Quake demanded.

"Um, maybe?" I said.

"Like maybe that you are going on a trip during the school year for the king?" Mrs. Quake suggested.

"That may have been that." I feebly replied.

"Anyway," the king interrupted. "Sarah has an important job for me and is leaving today."

"Does this have anything to do with this experiment you helped with?" Mrs. Quake questioned.

"Sorta of." I replied.

"I believe that is a top secret topic." King Trident inputted. "We already have everything Sarah will have for her trip so we should really be going."

"Of course." sighed Mrs. Quake.

"Amya! Come say goodbye to Sarah!" yelled Mr. Quake.

Amya came into the room.

"What's happening?" Amya demanded.

"Sarah is going on a little trip." Mrs. Quake told her.

"I don't know about little." mumbled the king.

"Where is she going?" Amya questioned.

"On a little trip. That's all you need to know." The king informed.

Amya looked startled to see the king for the first time.

"Why would Sarah need to go on a little trip my king?" Amya innocently questioned.

"She is helping me with an important matter. As I have said, that's all you need to know." King Trident firmly stated.

"Can I come? I'm sure I can be of help." Amya innocently asked.

She is never innocent I thought.

"Yes. Amya is an excellent child who can be of much help." Mrs. Quake suggested proudly.

"I'm sorry though. I already have 2 other kids coming along. I don't really need anymore help." The king stated.

"I'm sure one more won't hurt." Mr. Quake pressed.
