It had been a month since that kiss of confession in the workshop—since the smell of motor oil and the humming of engines had become a part of not only San's life but Wooyoung's as well. Since then, most of their days were filled with lingering glances, shy touches, Wooyoung attacking San with sneaky kisses, and inside jokes that made their cheeks hurt from smiling.
And today? Today was for something new.
"Come on, San!" Wooyoung whined, tugging at his boyfriend's arm like a stubborn kitten refusing to let go of his favorite person. “Let’s do it. Pleaaase? Think of it as a date. A cycling date,” Wooyoung batted his lashes, a pout forming on his rosy lips.
San scratched the back of his neck, glancing at his whining boyfriend with softened eyes. “I don’t know, Woo… You’re the athlete, not me. What if I can’t keep up with your speed? Or fall off and faceplant right in front of you? It's been a while since I last rode a bike."
Wooyoung huffed, then leaned up to wrap his arms around San's wide shoulders, tiptoeing to meet his eye level. “First of all, I won't let you fall. Second, even if you do, I'll fall beside you and laugh with you, not at you. And third…” He paused, grinning. “I really want to see you on a bike. I know you'd look extra hot~" he said the last part in a low tone, followed by a mischievous giggle.
San groaned, but a smile betrayed him. “You’re so annoyingly cute when you're clingy, I can't refuse anything you say."
“Awwww, that's because you love me,” Wooyoung cooed, leaning forward to rub his nose against San's.
"Of course I do~" San's hands grabbed onto Wooyoung's waist and swiftly picked him up, placing him on the nearby work table, earning a surprised gasp from the younger. "That's why we'll be going bike riding together tomorrow." San gently caressed Wooyoung's cheek, feeling the warmth from the blood rushing to his face. “Sanni~” Wooyoung whined in a small voice, breath hitching.
"Yes, baby?" San leaned forward, resting his hands on the table now, trapping Wooyoung between his arms.
Wooyoung's cheeks were red from the close proximity, and he found it hard to choose the right words to say. "Don't you dare use your strength like that on me," he muttered after a while.
"Why?" San smirked lightly.
"You know why!" he huffed, squinting his eyes, acting annoyed.
