Cw// fluff, slight angst, best friends to lovers

"I am over here!", San waved at his best friend who was looking for him from the other end of the college cafeteria.
As soon as they met eyes Wooyoung sprinted to the table where San was sitting while sipping his strawberry yoghurt smoothie."Huh!", Wooyoung plopped down on the chair across San and dropped his bag on the floor with a sigh.
"So, how was the lecture?", San asked, even though the answer was obvious.
"It was absolutely horrible. I think i will need at least three americanos to recover from that two hours", Wooyoung whined with a pout.
"Oh, let me buy you two more later then", San smiled cutely as he placed the large cup of Americano he was hiding this whole time, on the table
"Sanni, How'd you know???", Wooyoung looked at the latter with widened eyes and a grin before reaching to grab the drink.
"Who else knows you better than me?", the older boy chimed, stopping everything he was doing to observe how beautiful his best friend looks whenever he is happy.
Wooyoung was the only thing and everything that was able to make San feel as if he was on cloud nine regardless when or where they are.
But as far as San knew, Wooyoung had no clue about the way San's heart beat for him; or he thought it was one sided."You are right. What would I do without you in my life, Sanni", Wooyoung leaned across the table and briefly caressed the latter's cheek softly and pulled back to grab San's drink this time.
"Having a yoghurt smoothie again, aren't you?", Wooyoung said before taking a sip from his friend's drink.
"Mmm... Not bad. But I'd still prefer the Americano", he chuckled and leaned back to his chair to enjoy his own drink.
All this time, San was sitting there watching Wooyoung with a heated face. The ghosts of Wooyoung's touch lingering on his cheek and the fact he took a sip from the same straw San was drinking was too much for the older boy to handle at once.
His heart was pounding rapidly inside his chest while watching Wooyoung sipping on his drink like a happy little kid. Despite how the younger had his fingers wrapped around San even without him knowing, San never found the courage to confess his feelings.
And why was that you might ask? Well, San always thought he was out of Wooyoung's league. He was always the quiet introverted friend of his group while Wooyoung was totally the opposite. Even though San imagined him spending the rest of his life with Wooyoung, he didn't believe Wooyoung did the same. He was always so hard on himself not believing that he wasn't good enough for Wooyoung."You are staring at me Sanni. What's up? Got something to say?", Wooyoung placed his drink aside to lean to San's direction, looking with eyes that was sparkling like starts right into San's shaky ones. The older couldn't hold the eye contact much longer.
"Umm... Nothing, Young-ah", he shook his head with a sheepish smile and looked away, stirring his drink nervously.
Wooyoung silently let out a disappointed sigh and slipped his hand into his pocket to fish his mobile phone out."Where is he?", he mumbled to himself.
"Oh, Sangie", San's voice made Wooyoung snap his head up to look at the direction San was pointing.
"Hey, boys!", Yeosang greeted as he made his way to join the latter.
"I got some great news for you, Woo", Yeosang took a seat next to San, wiggling his brows at the smaller boy.
