The evening sky stretched above them, layered with cotton-like white clouds, while the shimmering glow of city lights reflected off the rippling waters of the Han River.
Wooyoung's hand slipped into San's, intertwining their fingers and pulling him closer to the path where their feet shuffled in sync. The air was crisp, carrying the familiar scent of the river that had marked the beginning of their love story five years ago.

“This place never changes", San murmured, his voice soft yet rich with nostalgia. His dark coat swayed as he walked, the grey hoodie underneath framing his face like a halo.

“It doesn’t", Wooyoung agreed, gripping his camera tightly with his free hand. His lips curled into a small smile as he turned his gaze to San.
“And neither do you. You’re still as breathtaking as you were back then.”

San rolled his eyes but smiled, his cheeks tinged with warmth. “You’re laying it on thick tonight.”

“Shut up and accept my love!”, Wooyoung retorted, nudging him lightly. “Let me be romantic. It’s our fifth anniversary, you know.”

San stopped in his tracks, pulling Wooyoung to a halt. “Five years, huh?” he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “Feels like yesterday… you know, when you hit me with your bike.” He pretended to rub his back in mock pain.

Wooyoung groaned, squirming as he tried to hide his face in San’s chest. “Why do you always bring that up?”

“Because it’s funny!” San teased, his laughter light and melodic as he lovingly scratched behind Wooyoung’s nape, causing Wooyoung to glance at him bashfully.
“You came flying down the path like you had somewhere urgent to be, and the next thing I knew, I was on the ground.”

“I said I was sorry a hundred times!” Wooyoung protested, his cheeks flushing red. “And I even bought you a pack of your favorite cola to make up for it!”

“You did,” San conceded, a fond smile replacing his playful expression. “That’s when I knew you were special—this guy who knocked me over but wouldn’t leave until he made it right.”

Wooyoung lowered his head, a bashful smile creeping onto his face. “Well, I’m glad I did knock you over. Otherwise, I’d never have found you.”

San softened, his fingers gently tilting Wooyoung’s chin upward. “Me too,” he whispered, his dimpled smile radiating warmth.

They continued their stroll until they reached a quiet spot near the riverbank. Wooyoung suddenly stepped back, his camera poised.
“Don’t move,” he said, grinning. “I need to capture this.”

San arched a brow. “What am I, a model now?”

“Yup! You’re my model~”, Wooyoung said, his tone teasing yet affectionate. “Come on, just let me. For memory’s sake.”

San sighed in mock exasperation but played along, throwing his arms wide with a playful grin.

The camera clicked, capturing the pure joy on his face against the backdrop of the illuminated river.
“Perfect!", Wooyoung muttered under his breath, taking shot after shot.
“Now pull your hood up. I want that ‘boyfriend in a hoodie’ aesthetic.”

San chuckled but followed instructions, pulling the hood snug over his head.
“Is this what five years with you looks like? Being bossed around for pictures?”

“Exactly!”, Wooyoung replied with a smirk, crouching slightly to get another angle. His heart fluttered as he clicked again, capturing San mid-laugh.
As Wooyoung adjusted the settings on his camera, San leaned against the nearby railing, watching him with a soft smile.
The way Wooyoung’s brows furrowed in concentration, his lips slightly pursed—it was a sight San had grown to adore over the years.

“I sometimes wonder,” San began, his voice gentle and thoughtful, “if you’ll one day get tired of taking pictures of me",

Wooyoung paused, lowering the camera slightly to look at him. His eyes narrowed, but there was a playful glint in them. “Never,” he declared, his tone firm yet filled with affection. “My favorite thing to see through this viewfinder is your image, Sanni.”

San blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity in Wooyoung’s voice. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he turned his gaze to the river, trying to hide the warmth spreading across his face.
“You’re too cute", San murmured, shaking his head.

“And you’re too perfect", Wooyoung shot back without missing a beat, bringing the camera back up. “Now, stop blushing and give me that boyfriend model vibe again.”
San turned to him, noticing the glint of emotion in his eyes—love and admiration, as always.

“Baby", San called softly.

“Hmm?”, Wooyoung looked up, his heart skipping a beat at the way San’s gaze held his.

“Can you make this the last pic for today?”, San asked, his voice quiet yet steady.

“Last one? Hmm... okay. But why?”, Wooyoung lifted the camera, framing San perfectly  with a pout of mock disappointment.

"Cause... I wanna spend the rest of the evening holding you in my arms", San said softly as he walked closer, driving Wooyoung's heart into an overdrive.

“Oh Sanni... I love you~”,  Wooyoung said softly, his voice thick with emotion.

San chuckled and leaned forward slightly, puckering his lips into a playful kissy face before winking.

The camera clicked!

Lowering the camera, Wooyoung blinked in surprise as San moved closer, his face just inches away.
“I love you even more, jagiya", San whispered, his voice warm and tender.
In that moment, San leaned in, their lips brushing together in a kiss that was soft yet firm—one that spoke of years of love, countless memories, and the unspoken promise of forever."

Wooyoung's hands let go of the camera, leaving it hanging by side across his chest as he grabbed tightly onto San's coat collar, moving into his tiptoes.
San smiled into the kiss, his hands protectively holding Wooyoung's waist to steady him as he balanced on his tiptoes. Moments later, he pulled Wooyoung into a comforting hug.

As they pulled apart, Wooyoung’s cheeks were flushed, his smile impossibly bright.

“This last pic..” he murmured, holding up his camera, “... is going to be my favorite picture of you from today"

San chuckled softly, pulling Wooyoung close and wrapping his arm around Wooyoung's waist as they strolled through the river breeze, their steps unhurried and perfectly in sync.
"That's good because I won't let you leave my side again tonight," San said, his voice firm yet warm.

"Don't worry, I won't let you either," Wooyoung replied with a playful smile, wrapping his arm snugly around San's slender waist.

Likewise, Under the glow of the Han River lights, they walked nestled into each other's warmth, their laughter mingling with the soft hum of the city—a perfect ending to five years of love and the promise of countless more to come.

-The End-
