As we swiftly approached the front door, we warily stop as we see Freya standing in the doorway. A concerned Demeter speaks softly, "Freya, what's going on?"

Hearing Demeter, she turns to face us. "I honestly don't know," she gestures outside, "I just opened the door to two girls standing here."

I peer around her, noticing the frightened looking girls standing on the doorstep, then I turn to Freya, "Well what was all that about pitchforks and stakes?"

"What else was I supposed to say," she laughs softly, "the last time other people were here was when they were here to kill us with pitchforks, stakes and various other weapons. Now strangers are here again but unarmed, how dull." Freya mockingly shakes her head in disappointment.

Demeter looks at Freya incredulously, "We thought something serious was about to happen and you were just joking around?"

"Oh come on Demeter, its healthy to play jokes on occasion." Freya quickly defends.

I roll my eyes at their playful bickering before turning to the girls on the porch. At first glance, they seem absolutely terrified. Confused, I smile at them reassuringly before stepping on the porch as well, "Hello was there something that you two needed?" I wait patiently for one of them to say something.

After a couple of minutes of silence between the girls, Freya snaps at them, "Oh for the love of... Will someone just tell us who the hell you are and what the hell do you want? I mean it's not that hard, open your mouth and just spit it out!"

Nervously one girl takes a baby step forward, stuttering she speaks softly, "My n-name is Naomi, this is Brittany," she gestures to the girl behind her. "and I-I'm sorry to bother y-you, but Ms. Hartman wanted m-me to tell you to go see her tomorrow before class s-starts." I look at her, smiling at her bravery.

Demeter frowns in surprise, "I doubt Ms. Hartman would send more than one student to give us this message. Knowing that, why did you feel the need to bring a friend?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Freya says harshly before the girl can reply. Demeter looks at her confused and silently shakes her head.

Surprising everyone, I explain, "When Ms. Hartman asked her to give us the message, the girl was terrified of coming here alone. She got her friend to come with her as moral support or back up if needed. Her friend also didn't want her to come here alone; therefore she came with to make sure nothing bad happened."

Brittany stands beside Naomi and fearfully corrects me, "Actually, it's you that we're terrified of." I watch as she looks me straight in the eyes, "We heard that you were heartless enough to destroy an entire planet, to annihilate a living species."

I look at her blankly, trying to figure out how she found out. Freya steps in front of me protectively, "You need to learn to watch what you say little girl." She said menacingly, "Who the hell told you this?" When no one said anything, Freya's anger turned deadly. "So help me... If you don't speak up and tell us in the next five minutes, I'm not responsible for what will happen." Freya's threat seemed to still the air as the tension became thicker.

Demeter cautiously inched closer to Freya before turning a harsh gaze to the two girls. Under the deadly glares, Naomi and Brittany looked like they were going to pass out from fear. "Demeter, Freya." I say softly, waiting for them to look at me before continuing, "They have a right to be scared if that's how they feel. It's not like my past is a secret or anything." I step in front of them as I turn my attention to Naomi and Brittany. Ignoring their scared expressions and trembling bodies. "You don't need to be so scared of me; I have no reason to hurt you." I shrug casually, "Is that all Ms. Hartman wanted you to tell us?" They nod fearfully.
