A/N: Wow it's been awhile since I've updated... Writer's block seriously sucks. I'm planning on ending this book soon. Maybe around five more chapters? I'm not 100% sure of that yet.
I hope you like the new chapter xx

"My Queen, I need you to read over and sign these documents as soon as you can." Lady Arachne announces, placing a huge stack of papers onto the desk in front of me.
My eyes widen, that stack of paperwork is the biggest one I've seen yet. "I understand. I'll get it done by the end of the day. And could you send word to Demeter and Freya that I'd like to see them in here as soon as they can please."
Lady Arachne smiles and nods before gracefully leaving the room, closing the door to the Kings office without another word.
I lean back in the chair closing my eyes while I sigh tiredly. It's been a month since my father went missing, and I became the replacement. Little did I know that being Queen meant reading and signing mounds upon mounds of endless paper work, to be quite frank it's exhausting.
While I've been playing Queen, half of the generals are still searching for my father. I've been told over and over that we should just give up since we haven't even found a trace of him yet but I can't. I don't know why but I feel in my gut that he's out there and it's only a matter of time until we find him.
I glance at the mountain of paperwork with dismay. I should probably get started on that... Just as I'm about to get back to work, two short yet firm rasps on the door causes my gaze to instantly snap in that direction.
I smile happily; this is a welcomed interruption, that's for sure. "Come in."
"Oh did you hear that, Demeter? She sounds so much like a Queen with all that authority in her voice." Freya teases, coming in the room with Demeter in tow.
Demeter laughs before joining in on the teasing, "And imagine our surprise when Lady Arachne came up to us and told us that Queen Keeisa has requested our presence."
"I know, I thought I was going to faint. The great and mighty Keeisa Blackwood wants to see us, I'm flattered really." They both laugh as they approach.
"Oh very funny you two..." I murmur dryly watching as they sit in the chairs opposite of mine.
"You know that we're just messing with you Keeisa." Demeter informs, smiling as she continues. "So what did you need?"
"The Headmaster will hopefully be here soon. We're discussing implementing a school system in the Underworld."
Freya peers at me confused, "I don't understand, don't they already have one?"
I snort, "If that's what you want to call it. Honestly it's amazing anyone here is educated. Attendance isn't mandatory, there are a handful of students that actually have passing marks and it seems as though no one cares."
"That's terrible..." Demeter says disappointed. "If the school system is that crappy then how is anyone able to move on from grade to grade?"
"They get passed along like it's no big deal."
Before we can discuss anymore, Lord Gaelin's voice follows two short knocks on the door. "My Queen, the Headmaster is here to see you."
I rise, standing behind the desk, "Come in Lord Gaelin."
