The days leading up to the gala were more hectic than I could have ever imagined. Most people would assume that since mostly everyone in this school can use magic it would be a menial task to decorate a ballroom while also decorating the entire school in order to make it more presentable for the royals. Well they would be wrong. Due to the increase in security around the campus, students and staff were forced to use little or no magic what so ever. If magic had to be used, it was under the supervision of royal guards as well as the Headmaster.

Back on Earth, this was considered normal. Don't use magic, just do it yourself otherwise people would have found out I was more than human. Back then I could handle that easily, it was never an issue to do these small tasks, but now I have Abraxas.

I love Abraxas, seriously I do, but he has been driving me insane all week. I put up a banner, he tears it down. I leave his sight for a couple minutes which makes him mad at me until I focus all my attention on him. Not to mention his jealousy and possessiveness is at an all time high. For example, if I so much as look at Shadowbane or Willican for too long he will surround me with his body, hissing and growling at them until they look away or leave. He's like a big two year old child.

"Keeisa quit getting so lost in thought and come help me!" Freya yells, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I look at her quizzically. "Help with what?"

"Demeter came up with an idea. You and I will help Demeter get ready. Then Demeter and you will help me get ready. Lastly, Demeter and I will help you get ready." She explains with a huff. "You get what I'm trying to say, right?"

I merely laugh, "Of course, let's do this."

"I'm completely freaking out," Demeter says, storming into my room looking completely stressed out. "If I don't look just right then my parents, no my kingdom might disown me. Whether or not they need my power, they will disown me and I won't be able to handle that."

"Demeter please just calm down," I say in a soothing tone as I walk up to her. "You'll be breathtaking, and most importantly, you'll do your country and parents proud. Trust in Freya and me, alright?"

She takes a deep breath, calming down slightly as she smiles at me and Freya. "Thank you, I needed to hear that."

"I'm sorry to have to intrude on our little moment but we have less than four hours to get ready." Freya interrupts dryly.

My eyes widen and I quickly turn to Demeter, "its okay, don't stress out, we can do this if we work together efficiently."

"You're right." Demeter looks at us with determination. "Let's do this!" She marches out of my room as if on an important mission. Freya and I share a glance and small laugh before following her out.

Three hours and forty minutes later we're finally dressed to the nines. Demeter looks gorgeous in her off white dress. It hugs her figure all the way to her hips where it flows elegantly down to the floor. Her silky white hair is straightened to perfection with a simple yet luxurious diamond tiara resting comfortably on her head. We kept her makeup simple with light grey eye shadow paired with dark black mascara and nude lip gloss. We decorated her nails with a grayish-blue nail polish, the same as the tips of her dress. She's the perfect picture of a gothic angel.

While Demeter looks angelic, Freya appears elegantly mysterious. Her red and black dress is embraces her chest snugly before flaring out just below her bust. The long sleeves clung to her arms exposing only her hands which were newly painted blood red with black lace designs. The hood, which is attached to the dress, rests comfortably on her head, concealing her snake hair completely. A delicate choker necklace completes her outfit perfectly.
