"Rise and shine." I say teasingly as Freya just mumbles something before going back to sleep. I try not to laugh as I bring a small air horn out from behind me. I move in closer before sounding it off. The loud, deafening sound sends Freya flying off the bed, screaming bloody murder. Her snakes begin to hiss as she tries to figure out what just happened.
I smile innocently, trying to suppress my laughter as Freya turns her angry gaze on me. "Why good morning Freya, I trust that you slept well." Unable to contain it, I start laughing.
Demeter casually walks in the room, "What was that loud noise that I heard?" She looks from Freya, who's glaring at me, to me laughing with an air horn still in my hand. Demeter starts laughing having figured it out. "Oh Freya, payback sucks huh?"
Freya turns her glare on Demeter before dropping it as she begins to laugh. "I guess she got me back good didn't she..." She trails off, laughing to herself before looking at me, "Well played, Keeisa, well played."
I mockingly bow, "Thank you, thank you. I'd like to thank Freya for being a good sport and Demeter for laughing along with me." They roll their eyes playfully at me. I smile at them cheekily before heading back to my room.
I raid my closet, putting on ripped black jeans with a simple rose red tank top. I find a simple yet classy pair of black heels, and of course my favorite leather jacket. I grab my books before heading to the main room where Demeter and Freya are patiently waiting for me.
"Sorry for the hold up." I smile apologetically.
Demeter smiles in response, shaking her head. "It's alright, we have a lot of time left anyways, so let's get walking."
We laugh as Freya groans, "Why can't Keeisa just teleport us like last time?" She looks at me pouting as we begin to walk towards the academy.
"You're so lazy Freya, the academy isn't even far so you can walk it." Demeter scolds teasingly.
"I know I can," She pauses dramatically, "I just don't want to."
Demeter and I roll our eyes as we walk up to the school. "See what I mean, it took you longer to complain than it did to get here." Demeter points out laughing softly.
Freya huffs, "Whatever."
As soon as we enter the academy, people begin to stare and gossip. Now as you know this isn't an unusual occurrence, but today they seem to be totally focused on me. Weird... I glace at Demeter and Freya curiously.
"Your new appearance has people talking more than usual." Demeter explains.
Appearance...? Oh, my new horns, well I suppose that should have been expected. Freya sends a nasty glare to everyone around us. "Mind your own business before I make you." Freya threatens calmly.
I smile at her thankfully as they begin to look away. She waves it off as the three of us enter class, making our way to the back to find our seats. I turn to Demeter, "Hey, so I still don't really understand how the classes work here."
Demeter nods understandingly, "It's kind of confusing but essentially we have one teacher who teaches a variety of courses. We stay in the same classroom all day, but we have ten minute breaks in between each lesson, so that the teacher and the students are able to have a small relief from learning or teaching."
