We managed to make it back out of the cave in one piece. Once out we exited, I had Abraxas transform to fly us back to the cabin. Before we left we said goodbye to the pack then the three of us got on Abraxas and taken back to the cabin.
Demeter spent the next two days resting until both Freya and I agreed that she had bounced back from her illness. After she was healed we spent the next week just relaxing until I finally came up with an answer to my father's request.
The good news is that I finally managed to come up with an answer to give him. The bad news is the mere fact that we now have to leave my little slice of heaven to go give him my answer.
"I don't want to go..." Freya whines dragging her feet across the hardwood floor towards the front door.
Demeter rolls her eyes, "Seriously Freya we've been here for long enough. You knew from the start that we were only here until she came to a decision. Now she has so it's time for us to leave."
"But we don't even know what her answer is."
Before they could discuss it any more I interrupt them. "You do realize that I'm standing not even two feet away from the both of you meaning I can hear everything you're saying."
"Yes I know you're there but since you keep refusing to tell us anything I'm forced to discuss this without you." Freya comments haughtily, adding a small playful glare in my direction to enforce her point.
I roll my eyes, real mature...
"Freya calm down. She's already told you that she wants to tell everyone at once instead of repeating herself a bunch of times." Demeter reprimands softly shooting her a warning glance.
She groans, her lower lip sticking out as she pouts. "Fine but just for the record, I'm impatient so I dislike this decision immensely."
Demeter and I roll our eyes simultaneously; she just wouldn't be herself without her famous brutal honesty. Ignoring her temper tantrum we all leave the cabin, closing the door firmly behind me.
I descend the staircase, pausing at the last step to look back wanting one last look at this place. I don't know when the next time I'll be back, if I'll ever be back. I sigh softly to myself; well I guess I can't hide out here forever.
I hop off the last stair walking over to Demeter and Freya as they wait patiently a few feet away, giving me some privacy. Joining them I hold out my right hand, palm up smiling when they give me curious looks.
"Right hands please." I wait until they automatically place their right hands in mine. I love how they trust me no matter what I ask or do. I close my eyes concentrating as I imbed a fraction of my magical essence into their rings. I let go of their hands smiling at them, "There, now you can always come here."
Surprised Freya looks at me, "What do you mean that we can always come here?"
"I imbedded some of my magical energy within your rings allowing you to come here whenever you want. If we're ever separated then you will most likely find me here. Only the three of us have access to this dimension. Think of it like our secret home base."
Demeter smiles, "I like that thought, but how do we use the rings to come here?"
"Simple, all you need to do is tell the ring you want to come to this dimension. It will automatically come to this planet." I pause before warning them severely, "But I'm telling you right now if someone over hears the name of this dimension or see's you two teleporting you'll make people curious and wary. I made this dimension myself so I'd like to keep it a secret from everyone."
"Don't worry Keeisa," Demeter smiles reassuringly as she grabs my hand squeezing it gently. "We'll be careful not to expose any of this, right Freya?" Freya nods in response while holding my other hand.
