"Beyonce are you sure everything is okay?" Shanique asked me as I took a seat on the bench inside the employee's locker room.

"Yea, just feeling a little dehydrated. I don't wanna eat or drink nothing to make me look fat." I said. "I seriously have to stop, my ass is expanding and my thighs feel fat." I said smacking my thighs.

"Bey this weight is gonna come on you no matter what. Now here, thats a gaterode, drink some, if not all and go get your ass ready. Ain't no falling out here and then you hit your head im the wrong place and then you get a brain damage." Khadisha said.

"You right." I said taking the gaterode and muffin from her. I was hungry and started to feel light headed. After that over size breakfast with Adrian, I refused to eat anything else until the next morning.

"So how are you and Mr. Carter doing?" Shanique asked smiling.

"Good." I said standing up to face my locker as I started getting my outfit ready.

"Well... I think its more than good. Cause someone car was parked up to the hotel from Christmas and didn't leave until Monday." Shanique said.

"Child, I saw her and Blue matching on Christmas day going to the movies." Victoria said drinking her rum.

"Welp. I saw someone, call no name, Beyonce, rocking a ring." Khadisha said causing the other girls to gasp and gather around me.

"Beyonce?" Victoria said with a smirk.

''Bey?" Lakiesha squealed.

"Look what you start?" I said to Khadisha. "We are not engaged. Its just a promise ring." I said blushing as I slammed my locker door.

"Bey, why a promise ring and not an engagement ring?" Victoria asked.

"I don't feel like its fair to him to get married to me when I am still not sure if love or marriage is what I want. Besides, something just feels like things will be thrown of balance and I don't want him to be tied down." I said as I felt warm liquid invading my my cheeks.

"Awweee Bey." Shanique said hugging me. "You're gonna be or right." She said.

"If he loves you, he'll wait. No matter what. No need to get yourself into something that you're not sure will last." Khandii said.

"I am trying to do the right thing but everytime I make a step to healing something comes up to throw me of balance. I don't like it and its mentally and emotionally draining." I said wiping my tears with my hands.

"Yea...Bey you need time. You are still processing the whole Xavier drama and that entire Kelly friendship thing. Just wait a little while but don't wait to long cause that man loves you and I don't see him giving up so easily." Shanique said.

"Thanks." I said holding my gaterode bottle in my hands as I sat down silently trying to regain my composure. After a few minutes of silence, I walked into the bathroom and prepared for the night.

I moisturized my hair, giving it a little softeness and shine before curling it neatly. I neatly applied my makeup, giving my eyes a bright and happy touch with a few shades of blue. I placed on my turquoise body suit after putting on my nude colored stocking. I covered my nakeness from the cold by tossing on a thick fur black coat, which was apart of our winter uniform.

I quickly messaged my mama and Jay letting them know my shift started and that I would text them afterwards. I doubled check myself in the mirror feeling on my ass. It really was expanding and there just wasn't much I could do about it.

I walked out the bathroom, securing my makeup kit and clothes before slipping on my black wedges and adding lipstick. I only had two nights out of each week so I needed to do any necessary to make sure I made my customers happy. It was Saturday so I knew all the men, married-engaged, single or divorcing, would be gathered around for action. I doubled check myself one more time in the long wall mirror before exiting the locker room and leaving.
