Chapter Eighty Eight

I walked into the bedroom once I was done on the cellphone. Shawn and Blue were still fast asleep in the bed peacefully. Placing my phone on charge, I went into the bathroom and prepared for my shower. Collecting a new bath towel and body wash, I gently wash my skin allowing the sweet smell of blueberries to invade my pores.

Once I was done, I quickly sneaked into the bedroom, collected my underwear and a few makeup pieces I would need. Slipping on my underwear and mositurizing my body, I quickly applied a little makeup and my favorite wine colored lipstick. I quickly tossed my soft afro into two cornrows before stepping out the bathroom.

When I walked out Shawn was sitting up in bed staring at the bathroom door. I looked at him as I lightly closed the bathroom door and place my dirty clothes in its right place. Finally breaking our silence with a smile, I walked towards him and sat on his lap.

"Good Morning Baby." I said pecking his lips.

"Good Morning Sunshine." He replied before pulling at my pigtails. "What's the event?" He asked.

"Poca want me to met her at the club in an hour. I am not to sure but its nothing serious." I replied.

"Hmmm..Probably for Kyshard's birthday party." He replied.

"Oh, when is it?"

"Friday."

"So you won't be able to go. Your trip is on Friday." I reminded him.

"Yea. I want to get the project started ASAP so that once your graduation is finish we could officially be heading to New York, New York." He said kissing my lips.

"Yes but I have to first make sure my mother is straight." I said.

"Oh, speaking about your mother. Wasn't she a nurse before she switched over to the hotel industry?" He asked as we both got up and I started to get dress.

"Yea. Why?" He asked.

"How would she like to be a nurse again?" He asked. "In New York. She could have my penthouse in Tribeca." He mention.

"I like the idea but I doubt she'd consider." I said walking into the closet and selecting a beautiful yellow dress with my yellow sandals.

"Ask her about it first." He said as he bent down to buckle my shoes. "You look beautiful." He said kissing my thighs then standing up to face me.

"And you are amazingly handsome Mr. Carter." I replied as I pulled at his nose before embracing a kiss. "I'll ask my mother." I replied as we walked to the bedroom while I gathered a few things.

"How long are you going to be?" He asked.

"Not too sure." I replied.

"Well, take the SUV instead." He said handing me the keys, "and this too incase you come across something you like." He continued as he handed me his black card.

"I've got cash Carter." I replied

"Yea, but I have some, that is worth being spent by you." He said sliding it into my purse.

"Thanks. I made breakfast. Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Harsh Brown and Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice." I said as I walked out the room. "The food is in the oven and make sure Blue eats and take her vitamins." I replied as I kissed his lips and headed for the elevator.

"So I was thinking an all black and gold theme." Poca said as she spanked the white board with her wooden stick.

Just like Shawn mentioned, Poca was indeed planning a theme party for Kyshard.

"I mean beautiful gold lights, black glass cups, black plates and all black and gold cake, a gold chair made of leather seats and of course his all black bently with gold rims." She ranted.
