Chapter 6

*Y/N's POV*

My younger sister Dinah's having her friends sleep over....which means that I have to stay cooped up in my room the whole time.

It's 2am they should all be asleep by now.Dressed in my boxers and a tank top,I tip-toe into the kitchen having to walk through the living room seeing them fast asleep on the couches and floors.

I see the kitchen light is already on and I know my parents are alseep.

Lauren is sitting at the island in the middle of the room with her back facing me.

I sneak up behind her"RAWR!"

"SHIT!"she screams as she drops her phone on the floor and her hand clutches her chest.

"What the fuck Y/N"she hits my arm multiple times.

"Sorry,I couldn't help myself"I smile widely.

*Lauren's POV*

"That wasn't nice"I frown"I could've had a heart attack"

"Awww did i hurt wittle baby Lauren's feewings."she says in a baby voice coming towards me pulling me into a hug.

"No but you hurt my phone"I bend over and pick it up to check for cracks.

I'm surprised I've managed to keep my cool for this long.I've been crushing on Y/N since I was 12 that was 5 years ago......she was 15 then.

I remember watching her in her tight T-shirt's mowing the lawn all hot and sweaty,I'd always bring her a drink and she'd always say I was the best.

Crushing on Dinah's big sister isn't easy,the teasing and tormenting is nonstop with the girls their ruthless,and I find it adorable how oblivious Y/N is to everything.

"Lauren?"Y/N says as she snaps her fingers in front of my face."Where'd you go off to?"

"Huh?"

"You were daydreaming"she chuckles

"Oh,um probably because I'm so tired"

"Then why don't you go to sleep then..."she says as she opens the fridge finding a bowl of grape and taking them out.

"I-i haven't been able to sleep."

"Why not?"Because I always dream about you I wanted to say.

"Because theres a lot on my mind"

"Care to share?"She shoves the bowl of grapes near me as I take one into my mouth.

"You wouldn't care it's a personal sort of problem."

"Lauren I've know you since you were 13,I'm pretty sure were past the personal shit you're like family"

Well I wanted to be more then family with her.

"I-i have this person,that i like a-and I don't know if they like me back so it keeps me up at night""That's a very stupid reason I know but...yeah"

"Who's the lucky guy?"she smirks at me taking a hand full of grapes and putting them in her mouth.

"Well..."Y/N doesn't know I'm gay either.

"Come on spill"she walks around the counter sitting next to me spinning my chair around to face her.

"I-it's not a guy..."

She furrows her eyebrows"So it's a girl?"

I nod.

"How come I'm just finding out about this?"

"We don't talk much....I figured it wasn't of importance to tell you."
