*Lauren's POV*

"Babe?""Are you okay?"I ask walking around her desk while she has her head in her hands.

"Y-yeah I'm fine."she says her voice cracking a bit and her eyes red I could tell she had been crying.

"What's wrong?""What happened?"I question with worry cupping her face in my hands with a frown.

"Nothing."she sniffles grabbing my hands from her face and kissing them.

"You were crying...just tell me what's wrong so I can fix it."I then see tears well up in her eyes as I finished speaking.

"You can't fix it.""I already screwed up."she replies hanging her head down in shame.

"What did you do baby?"

"Lauren.....I lost my job."she sobs.

"T-that's okay I'll get one and we'll get the girls to baby sit until-"She cuts me off.

"Lauren I lost my job 3 months ago."

"Wha-but h-how.""Why didn't you tell me."

"I was scared okay.""I was scared you'd think I was a failure.""I worked so hard to get that job you told me I didn't have to....I wanted to prove that I could.""But they had to let me go."

"Is that why you're upset?"I ask as she shakes her head and hands me an envelope.

"Dear residents of apartment 1432 we regret to inform you that you are now behind 3 months in rent and own Complex Inn 3,950 dollars in rent.I the landlord Austin Mahone will give you until the end of the week to pay you're dues,if not I will have to evict you.Sincerely Austin."

"Babe....."I say at loss for words.
