The house had been empty for years. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpet was matted and a little bit brown; the whole scene was dreadfully depressing.

Footsteps began to be heard, footsteps that haven't graced the walls of this home for years. The insects hiding below the floor panels began to hide in their own homes. The vermin ran back into the walls and remained still. The door creaked open, letting fresh air enter the main hallway. A man stood in the doorway, silhouetted by the sunlight behind him.

"Hello? Is anyone in here?"

The curious man walked inside and made sure the door remained open. He took out his phone's flashlight and began to wander around. He stepped and a floor panel began to snap, but he quickly moved his foot. The man continued to dwell deeper into the decrepit, decaying building.

After wandering for 5 minutes, he found a staircase leading to the second floor. He started his way up and climbed to the dark hallway to which the stairwell was connected. Once at the top, he began to speak.

"...Is anyone there?"

No reply. He walked to the end of the hallway and shined his light onto a slightly ajar door, leading to what looked like an old bedroom. He opened the door and walked in. He saw a radio on the table.

"What the hell?"

The man approached the radio and looked at it, confused.

"Is this-"

The front door slammed shut, shaking the whole house. The door behind the man slowly closed, sealing him inside of what would become his, for lack of a better term, tomb. He began to panic, tripped over a loose floor panel and fell. He backed his way into the corner farthest away from the radio. He was struck mute by the sheer oddness of the situation until the lights went out.

He was screaming, pounding on the door, stomping; anything to get out. He knew that he couldn't escape. What he didn't know was that soon the radio would quit narrating his actions and go to sta-
