HellFire hotel was extremely dazzling from the outside, however upon entry, you could spot over a thousand safety violations.
There were cracks all over the dark red walls, and some of the floorboards were missing, revealing only a thin stretch of wood for one to walk across to get from point A to point B.
"Man, fuck this shit," Gruff muttered, all grumpy. "What if I lose my balance and fall off the plank?"
"Then I guess I'm stuck paying for the entire accommodation," I muttered back at him.
"You're so mean," Gruff shot, making a pouty face.
I ignored him as we made our way to our room. Room 66.
Upon opening it, I spotted a run-down bunk bed missing blankets, but thankfully not pillows. The room was barren save for this bed, which was positioned towards the right side of the room. The left side had giant glass doors, leading out to the balcony. The balcony itself was missing railings. If one were to lose their balance and fall...I trembled at the unsettling thought.
I then took in the rest of the room. Like the hotel, the walls were painted dark red and had marks all over them. It was as if beasts had come and paid a visit here, rather than plain old human beings.
Gruff sat in the lower bed, and closed his eyes. Probably too afraid of heights to take the top bed.
"It's not so bad..." he huffed. "Although, I prefer my bed back home, honey."
"Not so bad? Good grief, it sucks, fool." I walked on over to a plain white door located in the corner of the room, next to the bunkbed.
Taking in a long inhalation of air that's probably poisonous, I twisted the doorknob.
To my relief, it didn't lead to a cage holding creepy as fuck beasts, but the bathroom. Small, marble white, dirty with dried up bloodstains all over the wall and floor, it was like something that came out of a horror movie.
You just had to see it!
No, you really didn't...
I guess I have no choice but to use this unholy place, unless I want to go about my day with an unpleasant odour, I thought to myself, miserably.
My eyes averted to the balcony. It's pitch black outside, with not a star in sight.
I'm not surprised by that. Demons strike me as the type of monsters who hate living in starry locations because they're down here, while the stars are up there, in the heavens.
I went to brush my teeth. The water was a weird color, but oh well. What can I expect from this stupid hotel? I swear if something bad happens to my teeth, those fuckers are going to pay!
After brushing, I took a bath in the small bathtub that was missing a shower head FYI. While lying in the bath surrounded by bubbles, I thought about many things. In fact, one could say I was so deep in thought that nothing, not even Gruff's yells of help could awaken me if we were to have a bunch of demon thugs intrude into our hideous location.
Hmm, Mr. Hyde said to be at the HellFire Bar at noon sharp, and it's pretty late. I should get some shut eye.
After changing in my sexy, short light purple nightgown, and pulling my raven colored hair into a loose ponytail, I climbed to the top bunk and I gently laid down—
CREEK!
SMASH!
My bunk collapsed right on top of Gruff who was lying peacefully on the bottom bunk. Well, I guess he's no longer lying peacefully. Obviously, he's in fucking pain!
