I adjusted my tie and quickly combed my shaggy gray hair, while examining my teeth in the mirror to make sure that there wasn't anything stuck in them.

Perfect. Clean and shiny white.

Next, I yanked the tie off and decided to walk down the aisle, in a tieless tuxedo.

If anybody complains, I'll have security escort them out, either by grabbing them by their hand, or if they have a tie, then they'll be yanked out of the place by their tie.

Well, today is the day...

That I'm getting married.

To whom, you may be wondering?

Instead of telling you right away, I'll take you back to how this all came to be.

Raven sat on my couch, flipping through a magazine with the name of EW. "Lame...even more lame. God, these people really have no taste when it comes to furniture. Also, the most bought item in this issue is a lamp that's shaped in the form of a dick. Weird as fuck."

"It is weird as fuck," I agreed, chopping carrots and throwing them into a pan of boiling rice. I also had a pot with warm tea running next to the rice. "Instead of using it as a lamp, they're probably using it as sex toy."

Raven scrunched up her nose in disgust. "How not even a single soul has ended up in the hospital from being impaled, is beyond me. Very mind boggling shit."

"Maybe they are getting impaled but keeping it hush-hush, due to severe embarrassment," I suggested.

"Maybe..."

"How was your weekend?" I asked her, taking the pot of tea off the stove and pouring both Raven and myself a cup.

"Well, Elliot and I went hiking in a camp, I believe it was called 'Wolf Camp'. We ended up getting attacked by a group of demons. But we slayed them. Actually, we did a lot of demon slaying this weekend."

"Great," I muttered. My voice came out strained.

Raven picked up on my disheartening change in tone.

"Gruff...are you alright?"
