Chapter 46 - Angel Sent From Above

*Raven's P.O.V*

"Woah, so the freaking looney got to you, too, huh?" I asked, stunned.

"Freaking looney?" Elliot questioned, bewildered.

"Gala," I said, running a hand through my dark hair. Although, I'd rather be running my fingers through Elliot's hair.

"Yeah, he did. Even though he gave me strength, he didn't teach me jack shit. So, I've just been practicing on my own. Well, actually, I had a little help."

"That's great!" I proclaimed enthusiastically.

"How's your practicing been?"

"Err, umm," I didn't do any. "OK, I guess. So, you said you met an angel, too?" I quickly added, changing the subject.

"Yeah," his hazel eyes lightened up. "She's the one who's been helping me out. Honestly, she was the prettiest person I've ever laid my eyes on." Elliot coughed before he hurriedly added, "of course, second to you, Raven."

"Elliot, she better be."

"Speaking of which," Elliot said, clearing his throat while ignoring my vicious tone full of attitude (and truth), "here she comes!"

She's coming here?! NOW?!

I'm not ready at all! I probably look like a mess right now!

OK, deep breathes, Raven, you need to calm down. After all, you're a freaking badass. Meeting an angel will just be like any other regular day.

All of a sudden, glowing white butterflies appeared next to Elliot. They started spreading out, from the floor, all the way up to the where Elliot's eyes were located.

Wow, mesmerizing...

A few seconds later, a tall gorgeous stunning woman (but less gorgeous than I) stood next to Elliot. She had flowing, long blond hair, dazzling white teeth, smooth honey colored skin, and plump dark red lips. Additionally, she wore an all-white toga typical of men in the Roman Empire. What about shoes or sandals, you may be wondering? Well, she wasn't wearing any! Barefoot and hot. But just remember, less hot than yours, truly, Raven.

"Hey," she greeted, her large pure white wings flapping back and forth, like a butterfly's wings when they're floating, "nice to meet you! I'm Elena. No last name 'cause I'm an angel, if it isn't already obvious."

I narrowed my violet eyes. "So you're the woman who's been with my man?"

She laughed. God, it even sounded perfect. Why couldn't it have been annoying?!

"Oh, it's nothing dirty like that," she explained, in that sweet, charming voice of hers. "I'm not a demon consumed by lust, you know."

"Hmm, then what business could you possibly have with my-I mean, Elliot?"

"Chill-ax," she scoffed, rolling her bright topaz colored eyes. "I've been helping him improve his skills so that he can kick demon ass. Besides, I'm taken by someone."

"Who?"

"None of your business."

Elliot came on over to me and nudged me, while whispering, "be nice."

Ugh, fine, I'll be nice, but only for Elliot's sake.

"It's clear that I'm unwanted here, so I'll just leave," Elena said apathetically, shrugging her shoulders.

Yes, please, leave.

And I'm not thinking that way because I'm jealous...well, OK, fine, I'm just a little jealous...
