*Raven's P.O.V*
"Not good," I admitted. "I feel like punching and breaking something."
He chuckled.
"Well, that can be arranged," He said, winking. "Perhaps I should take you out on a date to a rage room."
I grinned. "That'd be nice...so do you want something?"
"I was gonna ask for a glass of whiskey," Derek responded, with a twinkle in his sleep deprived eye. "But I change my mind. I'd like to take you out."
"Sure," I shrugged. "But my shift finishes later."
He cleared his throat. "Actually, I'd like to take you out now. Also, I want to offer you a job..." His eyes scanned the bar and he shuddered. "Something better than this."
Immediately after he said that, I jumped over the counter.
Derek, bewildered by my action, stumbled back slightly before regaining his normally stiff composure.
Thankfully, Darla didn't see me do this graceful jump since she just went into the back. I really don't need her to see that I'm leaving...unless she happens to come out to the front again.
Praying so hard that she stays at the back until both Derek and I are well off the premises of HellFire Bar.
"Yeah, I'll hear you out, let's go!" I told him, delighted to ditch this job.
"Sure you wouldn't like to tell your current boss---?"
"Nah, he's probably busy anyway." Yeah, busy fucking 24/7. Unambitious, crazed, sex addicted wackjob.
I linked my arm in his and we both made our way outside of HellFire Bar, until---
"Girl, what the hell did you make me?" An insanely muscly man shot out angrily, from the unstable table that he was sitting at. His dark flint black eyes bore into my much nicer looking violet ones. Clearly not a demon like the rest. "You just got in the way of me enjoying my typical go-to beer. You living joke."
Excuse me?
"I could break your legs," he continued, coldly. "That way, you'll be crawling and serving orders, assuming you're still hired."
Who does this dirtbag think he is?
It's my first day on the job. Of course, I'm going to mess up. Fucker. I hope his chair breaks.
"I'm sorry about your drink being ruined, douchebag, but if you're a regular at this place, you should have used your tiny af brain to deduce that I'm a new hire," I snapped.
"The hell you say?!" He roared. "You'll regret speaking that way to me, bitch!"
"The only thing I regret is not making your drink worse, but too bad I can't go back in time to do just that."
The sensitive hooligan got up, shaking, and stormed on over to me.
Derek jumped in front of me, with outstretched arms.
"You need to calm down. Just let the front desk know your order was made wrong." Derek informed him.
"Derek, he doesn't have the intelligence to do that," I whispered in his ear. "All brawn, and no brain."
I giggled to myself, however Derek remained stoic, clearly not amused by everything that was going on.
The moron's face was all puffed out and red. "Move out of my way so I can teach this whore a lesson."
