A/N: I debated between naming this chapter Leveled up, Elevation to New Levels or Elliot, the Superhero. After reading this chapter, feel free to let me which title suits it better <3

*Elliot's P.O.V*

It all started when a "religiously dressed to the max" hippie appeared at my front door.

"Who are you?"

He took a deep breath before he responded.

"I'm Gala," he said, "And I'm here to talk about Raven."

"Alright then, talk."

Gala took another large breath of air before his eyes bore into mine. There was almost a pleading look on his face.

"I'd rather talk at my church."

"Well, whatever you need to say can be said here."

"I'm afraid I can only do so at the church," he insisted.

"Why? If you talk about it off church premises, are a bunch of people gonna attack you and silence you forever, or something?"

"No...but I have a visual there."

A visual?!

What the heck does he need to demonstrate?

Does it have to do with Raven...?

I got up in his face, and spat, "listen to me fucker, if you hurt Raven, there's going to be hell to pay. Understood?"

Gala shrunk back meekly. "I-I understand. I can assure you there is no harm being done to Raven unless she ends up dying on her mission."

"Dying?!"

"Crap, maybe that was the wrong thing to say..."

"You think?!"

"Listen, I'm not the bad guy. In fact, I can tell you all about her mission if you just let me..."

I sighed.

"Alright fine, I'll go to church with you. A public one, that is."

Gala nodded, appearing relieved that I finally gave in.

Honestly, I only caved because of Raven.

I need to know...

If she's OK.

*St. Valentin's Church*

MY GOD.

The church took my breath away.

It was beyond stunning and the inside was even more gorgeous.

I glanced around the room, admiring the huge religious paintings and stone-angel carvings, while Gala led me to a closed off area of the church.

We appeared in front of a blue door, as Gala began unlocking it.

"I'm not gonna meet my demise here, am I?" I said, half-joking, and half dead-serious.

"No," he replied. "You have my word as a devoted preacher."

That doesn't make it any better.

Remember Raven, Elliot, Raven...you're doing this for her.

We entered, and shockwaves reverberated throughout my entire body as I stared in awe at everything I was seeing. The rest of the church had been very old-fashioned but this area was like a digital lab. So modernized, so techy, so scientific, so un-religious...
