Chapter 3 - Battle City Semifinals

After a couple of weeks of watching duel after duel, it was then that the final 8 were chosen, Seto being one of them. Then came Yugi and his gang arrived, that's when he saw me, behind the Kaiba brothers, it was almost as if our eyes were focused at one point and that's when I almost sense my friend next to me smirking at our gaze. I changed my gaze to more of an annoyed stare straight at (B/f), and she just kept her smirk while saying almost out loud, "I ship it."
I almost felt like my cheeks were slowly warming up when she said that, I was trying to whisper and not let anyone hear our conversation. "No (B/f), you are not shipping us."
"(Y/n), your blushing right now and before, you two were looking into each other's eyes, and that's why I ship you guys."
"Hey guess what? (BF Ship) is cannon, so your winning."
"Oh shut up, we are not going to talk about (BF Ship), when (Your ship with Yugi/Yami) could be cannon right now."
"No, that's not going to happen, we only met near the beginning of the tournament, I don't think that's ever going to happen straight away."
(B/f) looked towards Yugi, and then back at me, that grin is really scaring me now. "He keeps looking at you, I wonder why."
I take a quick peak towards him and He was talking to his friends while also looking at me from time to time. Now my face is turning even more pink, what's wrong with me, I have to stop acting like this. "Well, I'm going to go and just make sure everything is okay to set sail, while you have a chat with your new boyfriend, be right back!"
"He's not my boy-" As I was trying to tell her the truth, (B/f) dashes off. When I look behind me and see the tri-coloured hair guy I met a couple of weeks ago, I turned myself around to face him, he greeted me with a friendly handshake again. "Hello, uhh (Y/n) right?"
I smiled and nodded from his response, "Yes that's me, and Hello Yugi, it's been a little while since we've seen each other." I could feel a small blush prickling on my cheeks, I can't be like this when meeting someone else, this stupid feeling has to stop.
"Yea, it might have been a bit awkward for the both of us with your friend, umm..." He was sort of looking at (B/f) while not trying to point straight at her, only because Seto was near her and looking at us.
"Oh yea, sorry about that, she just got really hyperactive with being in Domino City, again, but also with lots of duels within the city, she has been dashing to every tournament, I feel like my legs are going to brake down, if I don't sit down."
Yugi tried not to laugh too much but it got to him, it was about to get contagious until an annoyed Seto went onto the huge blimp that just landed in the stadium. "Finalists, get on the Kaiba craft before we leave you behind, I haven't got all day to just sit and chat." I looked at Yugi and he was looking at Kaiba like they were rivals or something, must be that, but I won't ask, I shouldn't but in, unless I have to stop them from going too far, but looking at Yugi, he doesn't look like the type of guy to go too far, even though he looks like it. "Should we go then?" Yugi asks casually, and I nodded to his request, following behind him.

Once we were on the blimp a random guy came up behind me and Yugi, it surprised me but I think Yugi knows him. "Hey Yug' who's ya girlfriend?" I think my face was going to turn red, but I didn't want that to happen, besides, he could mean 'girl friend' so just a normal friend. "Uhh, Joey this is (Y/n), I met her near where my first duel was, and (Y/n) this is my friend Joey." The blonde released his hand from Yugi's shoulder to shake my hand, and introduce himself to me with his Brooklyn accent. "Joey Wheeler's the name!! 2nd rank champion in Duelist Kingdom and now one of the 8th finalists in Battle City, nice to meet ya!!" I shook the enthusiastic blonde's hand and laughed.
"Lovely to meet another friend of Yugi's, (Y/n) is my name, and I don't know what else to say." I felt nervous meeting new people, especially if I'm the new person around these parts. "Just so you know, you don't have to know about Joey here, he's not too popular," The tall, brown and short hair girl, ignored the annoyed Brooklyn boy and continued speaking."I'm Tea, another of Yugi's friends, and next to me is Joey's sister Serenity." I shake both of their hands and smiled, "Lovely to meet more girls than boy for once, no offence, I'm just use to girls than boys." Serenity was confused with my reply, and politely asked,
"Why is that (Y/n)?"
"Oh, well I actually go to a catholic girls school back in (country), so that's basically the reason why."
Joey went to see me face to face and looked shocked at my response,
"Wait a minute, your from (Country)?"
"Yea" I nod
"And you go to a school that's full of religious girls?"
"Not everyone is religious at my school, and there is also male teachers and staff as well, I'm religious but I don't go to church every single day because of my religion, I don't go at all, unless it's to do with school, then that's something different."
Yugi came up next to me and asked, "so what are you exactly doing in Domino city?"
I replied, "Well (B/f), the CEO's assistant or secretary, needs to be here and while Seto being busy most of the time, she brought me with her, so now I'm here for about 2 months."
Tea placed her hand on my shoulder, replying, "Well welcome to Domino, I guess."
I smiled happily, "Thank you, the last few weeks have been amazing, being in this city."
"Hey (Y/n), could I borrow you for a second?" (b/f) asked, gesturing to get over to here.
I apologise to my new friends and walked off towards (B/f). She just dragged me out of the area and near our rooms, and just kept asking questions about Yugi and his friends I met just then, while also trying not to let her continue talking about (your ship name), it doesn't even sound nice or cute.
However, I noticed that there was only seven finalists I've heard so far, maybe the eighth is on here, but hasn't shown it self, I wonder if there is even an eighth finalist?

HEY GUYS!!
If your not a huge fan of Tea/Anzu, it's cool I'm on the same boat, I just sort of feel bad for her acting mean most of the time in some fan fictions. So I decided she would be nice more often, to you, but sometime she might be a bit jealous or annoyed.
