Chapter 4 - Egyptian Encounter

I was in a daydream when I heard the announcement about the next duellists were about to start. The first ever duel was Yugi against a guy with white hair, some of his hair pointed upwards more than others, his name was Bakura the seventh finalist. I made my way towards the duelling arena at the top of the Kaiba Craft. On my way I bumped into someone who wore clothes that were unfamiliar to me. The clothes looked like she was from a third world country or just a cosplayer as someone ancient. I apologised and then went to look to see if she was okay. She looked at me, and almost looked like she was in total shock or something. She only replied with, "You're the one."
I just looked at her confused, "I sorry what?"
"I know you, I saw you."
"I'm really sorry, but, do I know you?" Confused as ever, I was slowly taking small steps towards where the direction of the duel was held.
"We have met, but it wasn't at this time period."
I looked at her even more confused, I shouldn't have stopped walking away but I wanted to know more about her information, "What do you mean 'at a time period?'"
She replies calmly and carefully so that I'm able to hear everything. "It must have been through a dream, but you were an ancient Egyptian at that certain time."
I didn't want to interrupt her, with knowing a little bit about Egypt, I thought it might be interesting to know more, it is one of my favourite topics of course history, scriptures, and the famous artwork, I just can't explain so much in words about the artwork they created back then; even though a young child can draw that well, it's so much different. She continued her story,
"It was a couple years ago, but I was told by you, to help stop someone that could lead destruction to the world. That person turning out to be my brother Malik, he is trying to take the Pharaoh's power to take over this world. You do know the Pharaoh, right?"
"I know about some Pharaohs."
"Yes however, you were created to hold the nameless Pharaoh's hidden memories."
I couldn't say anything, I don't even know what she was talking about from the beginning, well that's not true, I know about Pharaohs and Egypt, but this kind of Pharaoh is unheard of, I have no clue on anything about this pharaoh. Suddenly I saw a soft glow of light coming from the lady's necklace, and what made me realise was what Yugi was wearing had the same eye as the one on her necklace. Could Yugi have something to do with this theory that could turn it to actual facts? It was only a theory, I can't determine it as a fact unless I ask him, somehow.
"The Pharaoh is already in a duel, we must hurry." The woman interrupted me in thought. I looked at her and asked before she left. "Who are you?"
She turned around and did a small bow with her head, "forgive my rudeness, my name is Ishizu Ishtar, one of the tomb keepers from Egypt." As she walked off, I decided to follow her, but was cut off when she didn't turn where the duel was being held. I turned to the direction she was heading, but it's like she vanished into thin air. I wanted to stop and think about the scene that was just placed about me somehow being related to Egypt, which is what made me stay in the one spot looking in the other direction like I was seeing a ghost. It felt like almost hours I was there, and I spotted someone else coming straight from my line of sight. I decided to not look like an idiot down the hallway.
I should just go back to my room and relax for a bit, get the stuff out of my mind by just sleeping or something. Which is what helped me that night, but it also showed me more than just a normal dream.

Yugi POV:
I saw (y/n) in the distance before she walked away, I didn't know if something was bothering her, but it looked like she was staring into space, so she must be concerned about something. "You feeling alright Yami?"
Yea I'm fine, hey Yugi? Did you notice someone wasn't there?
"Who? Your girlfriend?"
What was that?
"Oh, nothing" I say before entering my room with a cheeky grin.

Also I'm publishing my 5th chapter sometime next week but Idk if I might finish it till then, but we'll see. Also after chapter 5 I'll be working on other pieces of work like more one shots and stuff like that, I hope that's alright.
