Chapter 10 - Good Talk

PREVIOUSLY ON SH*TTY 4KIDS TV SHOW:
(Yami's POV)
(Y/n) didn't look fazed from the entrance she wasn't even looking towards Marik or Ra. I didn't have to look at her straight on to notice something different about her. Her eyes were not the soft (e/c)s I remember, they're piercing golden eyes.

Yugi's POV:
We need to talk to (Y/n), she is hiding something from us. Leave her be for now Yugi.
My friend must be in deep thought, he almost feels a bit alone or distant with me at the moment. I hope he's okay. As my friends look after Mai in the infirmary (or something like that .-.), I lean against the wall just outside the door to quietly think about what happened last battle. It's still worrying in our body and soul seeing the real Ra for the first time. A sudden quiet voice took me out of my thought.
"Yugi?"
"(Y-y/n)?"

Y/n POV:
I didn't know what to do after what had happened and managed to find little Yugi standing outside the infirmary. We both looked at each other for only a moment until I noticed him holding his puzzle. "Don't call Yami yet." I asked. Yugi almost was confused for this sort of command. I walked and leaned on the wall next to the little star-head boy (HAHA GET IT!?! -_-... Moving on then.) and noticed he was a bit down.
"That must be horrible to see her pass out after that battle."
Yugi was raised his head slightly, "she lost her soul."
"What?" I gasped,
"Her soul, it was taken to a place known as the shadow realm."
"O-oh. I'm so sorry for her. She doesn't deserve this kind of torture, even though I've only known her for a while."
"By calling you Yami's girlfriend?"
You lightly blushed and laughed. "That really embarrassed me ya know." You heard the boy letting out some chuckles of laughter and you joined in, "You know Yami was blushing so much when he heard that, guess he must have been thinking about it too much." You giggled just thinking about his embarrassed face.

Yugi's POV:
"Hey (y/n)."
She popped her head down the slightest to look at me. "What is it Yugi?"
I didn't want to bring it up, but I think Yami and myself wanting to know her reaction before, "Why didn't you want to see Yami?"
Her straight face felt a bit saddened as she slowly lowered her head, letting her (h/c) only just cover her face and she spoke.
"To be honest, I just feel like what has been happening so far is making him question me even more about who I am. Well, I don't even know myself. I feel so confused about if who I saw was me or if it was just my imagination, but for some reason I do believe it was, but." She sighed, I lightly pat her back for comfort.

(Y/n) POV:
I couldn't help but just give Yugi a light hug. He accepted it and wrapped his arms around me.

Narrator's POV:
Yugi switched with Yami as he was able to enjoy the warm embrace. (Y/n) didn't mind as she was able to let her thoughts drift off from her mind and be left at peace.
(What a long and kind hug with the pharaoh ;;u;; I'm sorry but I don't want to destroy this moment, but I have to. ;) )
"I Ship It!!!"
The love birds quickly let go of each other and look towards the sound of the voice, It was none other than your good friend. "(B-b/f)!!" (Y/n) shouted, annoyed.

(Y/n) POV:
One of these days I will kill. No. Destroy (b/f) for doing that, even though I was going to let go soon enough, but not like this. Sigh. As I turned around to see the taller male's face and gave a farewell, before he grabbed my arm to stop me and I looked back to him.
"Listen (y/n), just because you don't know your true memories, doesn't mean we can't work together." My eyes widened, I forgot he could hear everything even though they switch, but those words made me show a small smile and give a light nod back before walking off to your friend.

Yami's POV:
"Well put, pharaoh. Heh."
Don't even think about it Yugi.
"What? I didn't say anything." Yugi chuckled.
That's what I mean, you didn't say it, but you thought of it instead.
Light giggles came from the young boy.
"Sorry, I can't help it, you guys are just too cute."

Narrator's POV:
Yami blushed at the thought and tried to look away from him to not show his warm cheeks. He thought this feeling was only shown to grow friendship, but not all relationships end with just being friends.

Gahhhh!!! You had a hugging moment with your lov- I mean friend, just friends. Nah forget it, I'm already planning your wedding arrangements, I'm just like that with every crack/canon ship.
