Why is my heart beating fast?

I went out and walked at the park.. I held my phone dialing her number again.

Suddenly, the rain poured. But I didn't leave.

Calling... Eunjungiee

(Hello?)

"Eunjung-ah.."

(Jiyeon?)

"Why aren't you answering my calls or my texts?"

(You called?)

"Nevermind..."

(Where are you? Are you getting soaked in the rain again?)

"It's... None of your concern.. Bye."

I ended the call. I was shivering. Its raining so hard.

"Ugh."

I closed my eyes. Why can't I even forget you before?

"Why are you here?" A voice asked me. I looked up and saw Eunjung holding an umbrella up to me.

"Leave me alone.."

"Did I do something wrong?"

"Look, you didn't okay? Just leave me."

"No."

I stood up and walked away when she shouted.

"JIYEON STOP!" I can hear anger and sadness through her voice. I stopped.

I turned around and saw her umbrella dropped on the ground while all I can hear is her sobs. She's crying.

She clenched her fists.

I was shocked at the scene. 

"Eunjung.."

"J-just.. Stop walking away from me.. It hurts Jiyeon-ah.. It hurts.." She paused. "Everytime.. Everytime you walk away.. I feel like I'm not good enough for you.. I feel useless.."

I hugged her tight. Her heart beat is fast.

"I'm sorry."

I placed my arms around her neck and pulled in closer. I kissed her.

I'm so sorry for the things I've done wrong.

Why do I keep on hurting you?

Why can't I stop loving you?

How will I forgive myself if one day... You leave me?

I stopped.

My heart hurts...

Everytime I see you cry because of me.

Everytime I cause the pain inside your heart. It kills me.

"Well then I can say you both are crazy in love, huh?"

I froze with that voice.

I pulled Eunjung close to me.

He pointed the gun at Eunjung.

"I told you... I'm not done."

"Stop this."

"Its been long enough."

"Why can't you accept the fact that I love her more than you?"

"Because I know I can change that."

"How?"

"You want me to show you?"

He was about to pull the trigger when I dodged the gun with my hand and pulled Eunjung to run away when I felt pain. I saved her.

I fell down, seeing her falling beside me.

I held her hand.

"I love you." We both said.

I know..

I heard gunshots from behind as I saw cops holding him. But all I thought..

Was her.

But I know.. I know I can't make it.

I woke up inside a white room,  Remembering everything.

Is she.... No.. No..

"Jiyeon.. Jiyeon.." My heart is beating fast.

"Hey.. Hey.. Calm down." Boram told me. Her eyes are reddish. I can tell she cried..

"Where's Ji--"

"She's..."

"She'll... Be okay.." She told me.

"Where is she?"

"Just rest for a while..." She was about to leave when I said..

"Is she gone?"

She stopped for a moment.

"......"

For a moment my whole world stopped. For a moment I was already dead. For a moment my soul was taken away.
