Last night, the love of my life, Scott Hoying purposed to me, and Mitch got the entire thing on film. I cropped the video and posted it on Instagram, and twitter, and everyone freaked out. Changing my Facebook status to dating- to engaged was monumental.
Today, we are going to meet Molly and Kevin's daughter, Alexis.
I get in the car, and Scott comes out two minutes later and gets in the driver's seat.

"Man, this is insane!" Scott exclaims, and smiles.

"I can't believe Kevin has a kid, We are engaged, and Mavi is married!" I say.

Scott kisses me, and smiles,

"Where would you like to get married?"

"Well, I've always wanted to get married in a big church." I say.

"Gotcha. I've dreamt about getting married, on a look out on the ocean, or up in the mountains." Scott says.

"A mountain wedding- like in Northern California! Ok. Done deal. I like that idea way better than the church, and the bride gets to pick the spot." I laugh.

"Of course my love!" Scott smiles.

On the way, we talk to a friend who got married in the mountains, and he told us a company that was good, and was nice.

We called them, and asked for available dates.

"August 26 is available, that's the most soon one. Also, our limit is 500 people." The man says.

"Perfect. That will be wonderful, thank you!" I say.

Scott looked at me and smiled.

We walk into the hospital, and we see Mavi, filling papers out.

"What y'all doing?" Scott asks playfully.

"We may be adopting." Mitch smiles.

"Agh! My ovaries!" Kirstie joked.

I squeeze her hand, and she kisses my cheek.

"It's insane, you guys are engaged! Have you picked a date out yet?" Avi asked.

"Yep. August 26, and couldn't be happier." I smile.

"We are getting married at Opal Mountain resort." Scott cheers.

"Invitations should be going out soon!" I smile.

"The Olusola party?" A nurse says.

We all stand up, and follow her down the hall. Turn left, and she leads us into a room.

Molly is laying on the bed with a little baby girl in her arms.

"Precious!" I say, and walk over to her.

"Here you go Kirstie." She smiles, and hands her to me.

She was so danty, and I felt like I could break her.

"Hopefully I'll have one of you in two years time." I coo, and that makes Scott perk up.

I pass her to Avi, and he smiles.

I walk over to Scott, and he kisses my cheek.

"That could work." He smirked.

I playfully punch his arm, and kiss him.

Kevin comes into the room, and I give him a hug.

He gives everyone hugs, and sits next to Molly.

"So- you must be wondering who the godparents are." Kevin said.

"Yes!" I squeal, but I am the only one who is way more excited.

"We chose this couple- just how they cared for me, and stood by us. We thank you, and if we have another kid, don't worry!" Molly smiled.

"Congrats to Mitch and Avi!" Kevin beamed.

I cheered, and wasn't very hurt. It's obvious they are going to have another kid. They both wanted a large family, and that was good.

I got to hold Alexis again, and smile. I want this to be me. I know every woman goes through a time in her life when she wants children, and that was me. I can wait. Scott and I are getting married in like five months, and that's all that matters.

3 months later...

"It's beautiful!" Esther exclaims, looking at me in my dress.

Jenieve, Kate, and Jessica smile, as I twirl in my dress. My mother is crying, and I tell her, it's ok.

"Your getting married!" Kate squeals.

I smile, and I realize, I'm going to be a Hoying.

So Kate, Esther, Jessica, and Jenieve are her bridesmaids. Jessica (her old friend) is her maid of honor.
