Scott POV

Silence. That's all. I could hear cars zip down the road next to us, but Kirstie was not in the mood. She was upset, and I'm upset. I glance over to her when we are at a stoplight, and she is looking out the window, but I can see her crying in the reflection."Kirstin-"
I start- but she rants.
"I can't believe this! It's unfair! It's your fault! Your mother had miscarriages before! My mother never did! Scott, just why?" She yells.
"Kirstie-"
"I'm done! That quack of a doctor doesn't know what she is thinking-"
"It's was on the screen-"
"You know what? Just drop my off at the bus stop. I need to be alone."
"Kirstie-"
"Scott! Just do it!"
I feel like my heart broke into a thousand pieces.
I pull over the next street over, and she says, "I'll be home later."
She slams the door, and pouts off, tears still streaming down her face.
I pull away, and feel guilty.
Was this my fault? It can't be. My mother had one- One! Kirstie doesn't know what she is talking about.

This is the most jumbled feeling ever. I'm sad, angry, hungry, and simply depressed. I don't know what to do anymore. I wait for the bus, and a man comes and stands next to me."Mam, are you ok?" He asks.
"Yes." I mutter.
He looks at my face, and grabs a cloth out of his bag. I step back, and he glances around.
No one is in sight.
He then tackles me, and puts the cloth over my face, and I'm gone.

Darkness. I could hear the pitter-patter of the rain, and that was it. I'm laying on the floor of a basement, and a dim light is shinning on me. I try to stand up, but I can't. Cramps surge through stomach, and then I realize something. I was supposed to go to the hospital the next day, so the dead baby could be delivered. If not, it would cause major pain, until I could die, or actually have it. (It happened to my cousin) It's only the size of a grapefruit, but it hurts. I groan, and successfully stand up. The room is small, and I scream."Well, well Kirstin."
"Who's there.." I start.
"An old friend."
"Who's there?" I demand.
He steps into the light, and I choke on my breath.
"Jeremy."
He cackles, and brings a gun to my head.
"Precious.." He laughs, and kicks me.
"Jeremy.. I'm in labor." I mutter, feeling another pulse.
"Your not pregnant."
"I have to deliver my dead child damn it!" I scream.
"Your not going anywhere."
He punches me across the face, and storms out of the room.
I run to the door, but he slams it.
I crumble to the floor, the pain is excruciating.
I cry, and yelp. It hurts that much. I cry, and cry, and cry.
I need medical attention.
I reach into my jacket pocket, and feel around for something. I feel my phone.
Jeremy you are pretty stupid.
It's not my phone. It's a piece of cardboard.
I wail in pain, and I don't know what to do.

Scott POV"Yes. I'd like to report a missing person."
"Her name is Kirstin Hoying, and she was last seen at the bus stop on 5th. She asked me to drop her off there."
"People saw that she was taken away?"
"Please- help me find my wife."
"Ok."
I hang up the phone, and slump down in my chair. I'm missing Kirstie. She's been gone for two days- and she could have had the miscarried child- this is bad. I go and get in the car, and the rain beats down on me. I drive to the bus stop, and get out. I look around for any sights, but I see one thing. Kirstie's phone, a few feet away in a tree. I pull in out, and the first thing reads, "3 Main"
3 main.. 3rd Main Street maybe? I start off in that direction. I arrive, and the building is empty. I walk in, and I hear the door creep.
Then, a scream.
I spring down the hall to where the scream was, and it is just a wall. I look down, and move the carpet out of the way, revealing a door.
I pull the hatch, and it creaks, just like the front door. I creep down the stairs, and I'm tackled by someone. I throw them off of me, and it's- Jeremy!
He had a cut across his face- and he- didn't look like his old self.
"Scott- she's mine." He murmurs.
"How come she is screaming?" I yell.
"She's not screaming anymore." He says.
"She's not screaming anymore- Kirstie!" I yell, and burst through the door leading to another room.
She was laying on the ground, in a pool of her own blood.
