Scott POV
==
She waddled into the house, with the box of ashes. She was quiet, and held them close to her. Setting down her bag, she sat on the couch, and snuggled into a pillow. I sigh.

Kirstie should never have to go through with this, and I don't want her to. Grief is a bad thing.

She occasionally looks up at me, and looks back down.

Jeremy is still out there- because Kirstie's health is more important.

"What would you like for dinner?" I ask, and she looks up.

"Homemade Mac and cheese." I hear her whisper, and I walk into the kitchen, and prepare it. I lay out the shells in the pan, and then cheese. I can here her sniffle- and I look up. She was standing in from of me and I smiled.

"Yes my dear?" I ask.

"It's just-" she starts, and I walk around the counter.

"It's just I missed you!" She begins crying, and I hug her.

She kisses me, and I kiss her back. I missed this.

"I love you Scotty." She mutters.

"I love you to." I respond, and kiss my wife one more time.

We ate together, and I talked about getting a job at a music studio. She seemed opened to the idea, even if both of us were traumatized. I want a kid- and if this keeps up I don't know how I'll handle myself.

"Scott-" Kirstie whispers, and I loo up.

"Could we try again?" She asks.

"Of course." I smile, and play footsie with her. I take the plates to the sink, and she follow close behind.

I look into her eyes, and she mutters, "I want you."

That's when our lips collide. I missed this.

We slowly make our way to the bedroom, and toss of our shoes in the process.

<SMUT>

I layed Kirstie onto her back, and she ripped my shirt off. I took hers off, and began to make my way down her neck. She moaned, and I took my pants off, and hers to. She seemed so- excited. She took her bra off, and I went back up to her lips.
"I love you Scott." She says in between kisses.

"I love you to, now this is for a kid." I laugh.

She chuckles- and history happened.

3 months later..

We've been trying- and I haven't gotten pregnant. My time is running out. Scott's job started a few days ago- so I'm at home. It's exciting to be at home, but boring at the same time.

I'm our running errands- when a little something catches my eye.

A puppy was licking the glass of the window it was enclosed in. It seemed to excited to see me, and it was jumping around.

Do I want another puppy?

Hell yes.

I walk into the store, and a parrot swoops down and almost takes me out.

I walk up to the puppy, and take it out of its pen, and pet it.

"Precious." I smile, and a woman speaks up.

"May I help you miss?"

I turn around, and her smile widens.

"Your Kirstie Maldonado."

"Kirstie Hoying actually." I correct.

"My apologies- do you like little Cosmo right there? He's the last one to be adopted."

"Yes- I was just about to do that."

I walk in the door of the house, and yell Kirstie's name.

Instead, a little someone came running towards me.

"A puppy!" I exclaim, and Kirstie followed short behind it.

She seemed out of breath.

I picked him up, and cuddled him.

"Just like a baby." Kirstie joked.

"Sure." I laugh, and Kirstie comes up and kisses me.

"This is the best family I could ever have." She smiled.

"Same. I love you." I say.

"I love you to." She responds, and kisses Cosmo and me.
