GO CHECK OUT HIKES- MY NEW SCIRSTIE FANFIC
==
I've never seen Kirstie in so much pain. She waddles around the house, and shuts her eyes each time a contraction comes.

They are only seven minutes apart.

"Kirstie?"

"No! JUST KNOCK IT OFF!" She yells.

"I'm sorry." I say.

Her eyes fall to the floor, and she hangs her head.

"I'm sorry- I'm sorry for yelling and I apologize in advance."

"Darling- it's fine." I say.

She smiles at me, and puts her hand on her belly.

"Ouch." I say.

"Again- no." She laughs.

She powers through each of them like a trooper, and I can see she is becoming anxious.

"SCOTT!" I hear her yell, and I dash up the stairs.

"Let's go." She muttered.

==
"Sir you can't be in here."

"SHES MY WIFE! DO I GET TO BE IN THERE FOR DELIVERY?"

"Sir it's a small room. Only doctor and nurse allowed."

I sit down, and sigh.

I don't get to see the birth of my child.
That changed.

"Mr. Hoying."

I walk in, and Kirstie was sweaty, and not happy.

"I didn't want to do this without you."
That made my heart feel so full.

Labor is labor.
I can't stand to see Kirstie in pain.

But eventually, we both hear a cry.

Kirstie gets handed a healthy baby boy.

"Awe!" I mutter, and a tear slips down my cheek.

"Scott are you crying?" She asks.

"Yes. I am."

==
"What should we name him?" Kirstie asks, and smiles at our son.

"Joe. Joe Robert Hoying."

"That's perfect." Kirstie smiles, and kisses me.

"Hey Stuart. Welcome to your new life!"
