Twenty Seven

Kirstie++

Sorrow.As I'm getting older, its getting harder. I may not be able to have kids.It has been nine months, and still nothing.We both have gone off and on about having kids, and I'm still in a cross roads. Scott has been so kind to me, and has treated me like the way Lucas treats Peyton.Scott forces me not to wear heels, because he read somewhere that it will help women be more fertile. Thats a bunch of shit, as I would say.

I wake up on Saturday, and sit up. I look to my right, and Scott isn't there. He proably went to the gym.  I look and see Cosmo, asleep on the edge of the bed, and a note next to him saying, "I went poop earlier this morning when dad woke me."
I chuckle to myself, and get out of bed and go use the restroom.
Looking into the medical cabniet, I see pregnancy tests. 
"Why not?" I say.
I leave it on the corner of the sink, and go downstairs, and get breakfast ready for when Scott comes home. I watch Cosmo chase his tail.
I then go and clean out the rest of the boxes from the garage. After a year, I still haven't fully moved in yet. 
I walk back inside, and take a sip of my coffee, and watch Cosmo do what ever Cosmo does. Then, Scott walks through the door.
"Kirsite?" He calls out.
"Babe!" I exclaim, not moving from my coffee drinking perch.
"Man I missed you." He said, and kissed my cheek.
"You were only gone for three hours." I joke.
"I know." He laughs.

I give Kirstie one more kiss, and I make my way up the stairs, and grab clothes from my closet. Then, I walk into the bathroom. I then see a pregnancy test sitting on the rim of the sink. It was postive. I drop my clothes, and take it downstairs.

"Mrs. Hoying?" I call.
"Yes my dear?" She yells.
I greet her, and ask her a simple question.
"So- are you pregnant?"
"I have no idea. I took-"
I showed her the test, and she squealed.
"Scott!" She exclaims.
I kiss her, and kiss her stomach, and we both rejoyce.
