2. Sing

*ring* *ring* "mum!!" *ring* "im coming, im coming!! Ohhh isn't this exciting!!!" with a hint of exaggeration in her voice, just a hint.
As my mother let the 'visitors' into our tiny living room, I could already tell from the high pitched 'hellos' who it was. It was my 3 best friends, Chelsea, Aubrey and Delilah. With their parents.

As I made my way to the living room I could already hear the short pleasantries being made by the 4 mothers and 2 fathers (as Chelsea's mum is also a single parent). So as I sat down next to Aubrey and Delilah, with Chelsea sat next to Delilah we were set to hear this 'surprise' everyone had planned.
"okay girls we have a spec-" Aubreys dad nearly said before Andrew rudely shouted "Mum! Can I have-" then his eyes moved over Aubrey and the white sundress she was wearing that cut off at her knees, it was as clear as water that he had a MAJOR crush on Aubrey for a while now but he hasn't had the 'courage' to say. Ha! Like I'd let him with Aubrey, never ever ever in a million years! Ever.
"n-nevermind" and he quietly shuffled back into the kitchen.

"anyway.." my mum awkwardly said with an irritated tone.
"yes. Anyway as I was saying. This surprise then" but suddenly all the mothers got too excited and Chelseas mum excitedly butted in "Wehaveboughtyouallticketstovisitsydneyforaweek!!!!" "what?!" we all stated in unison
"well.. To put it in a clearer way" Delilahs dad said with content, as he was less excited than every mother in the room, "as you are at the end of year 11 now and have gone through your GCSES and worked so hard this year, we have decided that you 4 girls are responsible enough to have a holiday on your own, so we have bought you tickets to jet off to Sydney for a week and you leave next Saturday. And you have this week to pack and get yourselves ready"
"remember no drinking, drugs or any boys as we are trusting you!!" Dels mum said with lack of trust in us. But then I piped up, as per usual, "oh my gosh!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! This is going to be amazing!!!" after that us 4 girls couldn't stop talking and/or screaming the whole night about what to wear, if we should go shopping, if we would meet anyone in Oz.
"I still can't believe it!!" Aubrey said with a mouth full of Ben and jerrys "same!! It's going to be amazing!!! We all look older than we actually are though so we could actually get into the best night clubs and get our hands on some booze" Chelsea basically whispered so our parents wouldn't hear.
"yea but the beach will be the best part!! The sun, the sea and the fit aussie lads, ey ey ey" after Dels comment I couldn't breath with all the laughter I had contained, "wow I love you girls we are definitely going to have the best time!!!!"

Saturday suddenly has a new meaning to it..
