18. Ho Hey

I woke up cuddled into Michaels chest with our legs tangled together and with his arms cuddling my waist and my arms wrapped around his torso. I just smiled at the thought of someone loving me (for real this time) and how cute Michael is when he's asleep; his hair ruffled around the pillow so I got my finger and brushed it lightly from his face and brushed my lipslightly on his, god I missed him.
His eyes gently flickered open to be met with mine, "sorry if I woke you" I whispered "its fine I'd rather be seeing you" he whispered back "smooth" I giggled and kissed his nose "also merry Christmas" I said excitedly "oh yea! Merry Christmas babe" he bounced like a kid in a toy shop "do I get a Christmas kiss?" he asked intently waiting for my answer "of course 'babe'" I mimicked and sat on Michaels lap, only to be brought into his sweet lips, at first he kissed me lightly but then deepened the kiss as I swung my hands around his neck. His tongue brushed against my bottom lip and flickered into my mouth as his soft lips pushed onto mine, it was heavenly. To my surprise he suddenly stopped "Lottie do you know what I said last night? About the 'i love you's' and stuff," great is he gonna say he didn't mean it? Because I did mean that I liked him and I missed him so so so much, seeing my brother and my bestfriend cosy up and act all lovey made me want someone like that to act stupid around and cuddle and love, and that person is Mikey. So please god let this not be bad "yea..?" I slowly replied "well... I really really meant it and I really hope you did to so I was wondering.. If you're interested.. Do you wanna go on an official date with me?" he intensely asked as he stared into my bright green eyes and I stared into his "yes Michael I would love, love, love that!" I replied with excitement as a smile grew on both of our faces and we both leaned into another kiss. But this time we were disturbed with a knock on the door, "I'll get it" mikey smiled as he went over to the door, as he did that I reached over to my phone to check the time, 8:17 great. But what I did notice was that I had a message from an unknown number im not gonna open it yet it's probably a Christmas sale or something. "Babe who is it?" I shouted to mikey "just Aubrey and your brother telling us to come down, sooo come on!! Hop on!" he bent down for me to jump on his back, so I did "charge horsey!!" I commanded hitting mikey gently as he ran downstairs.

When we got into the lounge everyone were sat waiting for us "come on!! We actually want presents today" my brother whined impatiently "shut up, we were coming" I snapped back "now now children lets give out the presents," my mum squealed "Darryl would you do it hunny?" "yes ma'am" he kissed her cheek "first one is for... Andrew," Darryl smiled giving the box to Andrew "thank you Darryl" my brother smiled back, over the years my brother warmed up to Darryl because he finally realized he made mum happy and he wasn't going to hurt her. "it's from me Andy, open it!!" Aubrey commanded "okay babe, chill" his pecked her lips as she smirked "yesssss new football boots thank you hunny" he practically screamed "knew you'd like em" she chuckled.
"mikey this is for you and this box is for Lottie, there you go sweet" Darryl handed us the boxes "that's from me" I said pointing to the box mikeys holding "like wise" he winked towards the box "well thank you" I already happily thanked him "you haven't even opened it yet" he laughed "well I will do now" I undid the purple ribbon and opened the box to reveal a silver chain with a little silver guitar on the end that had a blue gem encrusted into it "aww mikey it's beautiful" I said in awe "thought you'd like it" he blushed "thank you" I kissed his cheek "now open mine!!" I said in absolute excitement "okay okay okay" he went on opening quite a big box and as he stripped away the paper it was evident what I had gotten him "A new acoustic guitar!! And two tubs of red hair die!!" he squealed "yea my favourite hair period for you was your red hair period" I giggled "thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! He squealed again but kissing all over my face "im guessing he's not just your step brother anymore then?" Aubrey giggled "shut up" I blushed shyly "well ladies and gents this present is for your mother" Darryl began as he got out a little velvet box from his pocket "these past 3 and half years with you have been amazing and I couldn't ask for a better woman to live the rest of my life with, would you Victoria Tidesworth marry me?" Darryl confidently asked as my mum almost blew a gasket "YES!!! YESS!!" mum burst and we all stood up cheering and I was pulled into a hug by mikey and I gave no thought to hug back "I'll be back im just gonna get my phone" I whispered in his ear "okay I'll stay here with the soon to be Mrs Clifford" Michael giggled.
I ran upstairs to grab my phone so I could get some pictures with everyone for instagram and stuff but before that I want to see what this sales number wants;
Unknown - hey Lottie, it's Luke, I got your new number off Michaels phone when he wasn't watching so shhh but im soooo sowrry for treating u badly over these few years and I didn't mean what I said, I really really really did love youuu.. I've been debating on sending this for a while now and I thought why not on Christmas!!! So merry Christmas lottie :) have fun with.. Michael x
Wow. Obviously he was drunk but it was sweet of him.. What the fuck.. No no no, is it possible I still have feelings for Luke? After all this time? I guess I just put it to the back of my mind and forgot him. Because I think I truly do love Luke, he's like a drug for me I can't stay away but it would be unfair for me to lead Michael on.. I have to tell mikey. I left replying to Luke for later, what I didnt realise was I had been in my room thinking for 15 minutes "hey what you doing?" mikey asked sitting beside me as I looked up to him sadly "mike we need to talk, I erm dont think I can go out with you" I replied slowly "what? Why?" his happy expression dropped "because I love Luke. I-im so sorry, I love you to mikey as a bestfriend but I've come to realize I love Luke" I sadly replied with tears escaping a little but mikey wiped them away and to my surprise his expression softened "I could sorta tell, you didn't look at me the way you looked at Luke and I'll find someone but I will always love you too" he smiled "thank you mikey" I said grabbing him and kissing him on the cheek "hey! Lets go down elf is on" he smiled "okay! But mikey I still wanna cuddle with you later" I winked "of course" he giggled as I linked his arm.

"okay let me get dressed for the day" I say because im still in my pyjamas from this morning and it's currently 2 o clock "Aubrey you coming?" "yea sure" Aubrey replied following me.
"sooo you and mikey eh?" she grinned as soon as the door to my room closed "we're not a thing I don't like him like that, I thought I did but I can't seem to forget Luke" I filled in for her but she gave me a questionable look "Luke? Last time I heard he had a girlfriend and left you in the lurch?" she questioned "yea but look at this" I said handing my phone over to Aubrey "wow.. I seriously don't know what to say.." she paused "neither do I that's why I didn't reply but when I talk to him there's sudden butterflies in the pit of my stomach" I reply sadly because Luke has made me feel like this before and broke my heart and I could've had a good thing with mikey but I can't help who I truly love even if the person I love is with someone new and better.. "I just dont want him hurting my best friend again though because I know you really do like him" "I know I'm gonna be careful" I say hugging Aubrey "now what do you wanna wear?" I suggest letting Aubrey borrow some clothes since she's been staying un my brother's baggy tops.
I put on a white above the knee skirt with a black shoulder cropped top, with white heels and a choker and Aubrey put on a tight black dress with black heels but she decided to curl her hair while I straighted mine and both applied light make up since we weren't going anywhere. "okay done, let's go down" Aubrey said already out of my room "I'll catch you up" I shouted back, "okay Lottie you can do this" I whispered to myself
Me- hey Luke i'm surprised you texted me after all this time, merry Christmas to you too :) hope you didn't do yourself too much damage with the booze haha anyway it's fine the past is in the past right? But you really did hurt me and when you said you didn't actually like me it stung like hell. But have fun wherever you are and hope to see you in the not so distant future x

Okay it's officially out there, I hope he understands that he hurt me but im willing to put the past in the past.

"you look stunning" Michaels mouth drops as I enter the room "well thank you mikey" I winked "can I have a picture? You know if you don't mind" mikey shyly asked "suree only of I can get one on my phone as well" I suggested "of course" mikey replied taking his phone out and holding it up at an angle where both of our faces are in it "wait" I say running to get the two tubs of hair dye "okay" I say holding them up smiling for the picture "Great love a good hair dye selfie" he winked "I'll get one later on mine" I assured as he was typing something on his phone "okay" he said slowly.

"Dinner!!" my mum shouted as I was half way through scrolling down my Twitter "coming!" we all shouted back "wow mum you out did yourself" Andrew said gorping over the table of food "your catching flies Andrew" I giggled "sorryyy" I replied sitting next to Aubrey as I sat next to mikey "thanks miss T" mikey said to my mum "soon to be Mrs C remember mikey" Darryl winked cutting into his turkey "okay thanks soon to be Mrs C" mikey chuckled "its okay Michael" my mum giggled as we all sat and enjoyed the meal.
