9. Boulevard of broken dreams

"Lottie?"
"Do you think she's dead?"
"Oh shut up Del if she died Luke probably would've left her in a ditch or something"
I slowly opened my eyes to see 3 worried, 16 year old, nosy girls all staring at me. "WHAT?!" I sort of whisper/yelled at them all "grouchos awoken" Aubrey said with a little squeal as they all piled next to me, "How was your dateeee?" Chels asked as the questions came in thick and fast "it was great thank you, he's really something special" I smiled at myself remembering the night's events of my first kiss, my first actual date with a living and breathing boy (not that I've dated dead people or anything) and just being with someone I could potentially love.
"anything happen?" Del smirked as if she knew "yea I sorta... Kinda..." "HAD SEX?!!" Chelsea screamed "no!! Definitely not!! I had my first erm kiss" I blushed a bit embarrassed that I was the last one out of the group to have their first kiss "WOW!! Our little Lotties growing up!!" Aubrey smiled as we all laughed and had a group hug as if I was getting married.
"yea. Yea. Yea I know!! It was magical he's awesome" again I was smiling uncontrollably.
Aubreys phone rang as we were still gossiping about Luke or Michael or calum, "yea, yea... W-what? I-i im coming home we'll book tickets for the first flight home, see you soon" Aubrey finished "what's wrong?" I asked as a saw a tear escape her eye, "erm-erm" she stuttered but immediately broke down into uncontrollable tears. When she stopped we asked her again "m-my parents w-were in an accident" she cried "what?! Are they okay?" Chels said with worry "n-no my mum was in the passenger seat and my d-dad was driving w-when they had a frontal collision with a drunk driver" she sobbed trying to get her words out "shh shh it's alright, Del book a flight home we need to go home, Chels look after Aubs and I'll go ring everyone" I said with an upset tone as Aubreys parents were always the ones to take me in, in a time of need but now they are both in serious conditions.

I first rang my mum saying the situation and that we were coming home tonight and she was distraught as were we but agreed that we should come home and rang Chelsea and Dels parents and like my mum were just as upset as we were all like a big family and im losing my second parents. I then got Aubreys phone and texted Ash as she was the only one who had one of their numbers.

Me: Hey ash, we have to go home early due to some upsetting events back home please tell the boys too as it wouldn't be fair on them if we just left so this is goodbye. Lottie x
Ashton almost immediately replied,
Ash: hey Lottie what's happend? They are sat with me now they are all gutted that you're all leaving, so soon as well, at least let us drive you to the airport to say goodbye in person. x

Me: Okay thank you and I'll tell you when you pick us up, thank you all again for everything we'll miss you x

Ash: no no no this isn't a goodbye yet! We'll save all this soppy crap for the airport just get packing! X

I then looked over to Aubrey still sobbing as we're we all, "okay the flight back to Manchester is at 10:30 tonight" Del said over sobs, "it'll be alright girls, everything will be alright" I said as we all went in for a hug. I really hope things get better.
