It's been 2 months since Aubreys parents were in the accident, her mum is out now and living back in her house with Aubrey, but her dad is still in hospital, even though he's woken up and his behavior is normal he is still recovering from his severe head injury and will be in for another 2 weeks.
But on the bright side I've started college and taken journalism along with English and hopefully in the future I'll be a journalist for a news paper or something but I'd also like to travel and us 4 are planning to travel America in 2 years or so when we've finished college and can take a gap year between college and uni which should be fun..
Im also hoping to go back and travel around Australia because it was beautiful.
Since Australia and meeting the boys we kept in touch, and Luke and I kept in touch for a month or so until I texted him to say that he's doing well to have his tour coming up in the next year but after that he never replied and that was a month ago so I guess he's busy with band stuff and stuff, im busy too with juggling college and my job in a coffee shop in the centre of the city.
It's now October 15th , which means i'm 17 in 5 days which is gonna be fun because even though I dont have many friends I only need Chelsea, Aubrey and Delilah to have a good time and they're planning some type of 'surprise' for me, it was Chelseas birthday last month and because she's rather popular in her college (because we all went to different colleges they all made new friends a part from me, the loner of the 4 of us) so her parents allowed her to have a house party while they went to their parents for the weekend and lets just say I passed out on her bed with an empty vodka bottle in my hand. But I have a feeling my surprise will be smaller and not a room filled with people I've never met.
-5 days later-
"okay lottie go left" Aubrey giggled as she was directing me where to go since she put a blindfold over my eyes to make the surprise more 'authentic'.
We came to a stop only to hear the faint sounds of Hozier in the background, my blindfold was suddenly taken off to see Dels back garden covered in lights and lanterns with different blankets and pillows scattered everywhere with a stereo on the wall playing my favourite music "Surprise!!" they all shouted at one, "OMG!! This is... Beautiful!!! Thank you!!! Wow" I said in shock it is beautiful I'd definitely rather have this than a massive house party. "come on we're gonna have a movie night since we've got blankets and movies and a big screen from Dels attic to play movies on!" Chelsea jumped excitedly as we sat down to watch a film. "since it's your birthday, you can choose the first film because we're nice" Del giggled "okay okay" I went over to the pile of movies and decided to kick off the night with grown ups since I can leave the romantic soppy movies for later.
After Grown ups, Anchorman and White Chicks we decided to put some music on and decided to roast some marshmallows in a little log burner Del owns. "last time we were all together was at Chelseas party," Del says intently roasting a marshmallow "yea I miss this, just being us four" I sigh "well im glad all our birthdays are all together because we get to see more of eachother then" Aubrey smiled "yep I guess so.." I sighed once again because I miss seeing and talking to friendly faces rather than being ignored like I normally am in college, "hey dont get down! It's your birthday for Christ's sake!! Loosen up I know you find it hard" Chelsea winked "ohhh okay, hey have you guys heard from any of the boys?" I say referring to the aussie girl magnets who are currently in America I assume "well" Aubrey began being that she got very pally with Ash "the last time I spoke to Ash was last week, just casually talking and stuff and he said they're all good and they're going on a tour next year called ROWYSO and yea he seems fine." she finished "what about you Lottie?" Chels cut in with an eager tone "Luke? Well I don't speak to him really, I talked to him about a month ago but no reply so I guess he's busy being a 'rockstar'" I chuckled for a bit "aww lottie I know how much you liked him. There's plenty of fish in the sea" Aubrey smiled "yea I guess".
After we roasted marshmallows we put more films on but this time we went for romantic films and started with love actually then went onto the notebook, but all through the films I couldn't stop thinking of Luke.. I mean yes we only had 3 days together but I think of him a lot and I really feel a connection still but it just hurts that i'm probably only a memory to him.
