14. Boom Clap

After my short encounter with Luke that will continue in half an hour, I went back to do my actual job which consists of cleaning popcorn, cups or any shitty substance that appears on the floor.
20 minutes later I feel a tap on my shoulder while im cleaning up a popcorn spillage "one minute" I abruptly say "oh okay do you need some help there?" I hear an aussie accent say "no im okay lucas" I got up and winked "I'll be done in a minute" I assured him "okay" he smiled and took a seat while I just went to the bin to bin the floor popcorn. "okay im done, do you wanna go?" "yea sure" he widely smiled.

"so how've you been?" he asked as we were walking up to the train station "yea I've been Good, college has been.. Erm really great" I say sarcastically and he gives me a sympathetic look "not going great huh?" "well i'm doing well in my courses and things but I don't have any friends there so i'm a loner" I chuckled a bit "what about Aubrey, Delilah and Chelsea?" he asked with those big blue sympathetic eyes "we're all in different colleges and we aren't friends with Chelsea anymore soo yea" I signed "I wont ask you about that that then" he said making me chuckle "how have you been then Luke? Give me all the details about touring" I chuckled nudging his arm "oh it's going great!!! We've been going around Europe so far and all the fans are so fun" he smiled down at me "aww good any lucky girls in your life then?" "no, not after you anyways" "oh" I smiled up at him.

"okay this is our train" I said pointing at the train on platform 2 "oh okay, I've not rode the train without a bodyguard or the boys in a while" he chuckled as we sat down "well if any rabid 5sos fans come running to like rip your clothes off I'll fight them away" I winked "oh thanks, my hero" he giggled "that I am Luke" I joked along.

"we've been on this train a while, how far is your house from the city?" Luke said astounded "well we'll be there in a few minutes and about 30 minutes on the train, sooo it just shows you're impatient" I suggested "I am not!!" he said poking me "n-no s-stop" I chuckled as he kept tickling me "not till you say im not impatient little miss" he laughed "f-fine you're not impatient" "good" "maybe a little bit..." I giggled "I'll let it slide" he smiled at me and put his arm around me and it felt right "what are you smiling at?" I asked clueless "nothing," I smiled again "oh really" he said with a slight giggle "yepp" I smiled back.

"Here we are" I said smiling as we walked up my drive "ooo cosy" Luke chuckled "excuse me? Are you saying my house is small?" I asked with sarcasm "noooo I said cosy, not small" he winked "I'll let it slide" I mimicked "whatever" he giggled as we walked through the front door, "do you want a drink?" I asked "sure" "well we have coffee, tea, juice, beer but of course I don't drink that... Regularly," I joked "hot chocolate, milk... The list goes on" I say thinking of any other drinks "I'll just take a coffee please" he smiled "okay I'll get you one" I smiled back "soo what do you wanna do?" he asked looking over the many pictures my mum had scattered across the living room "well we could watch a movie?" "yea sure" he smiled as I came back into the room giving him his coffee "thank you, is that your dad?" Luke asked pointing to a picture of my mum and Darryl with a confused look on his face, it's as if he knows Darryl? Ah well he might just recognise his face or something. "no that's my mum's boyfriend. My dad doesn't live here" I murmured the last part "if it's not too personal, why isn't your dad here?" he asked being a bit nosy but I don't mind, I don't get upset about my dad anymore because he only brought me and my family down "well he used to abuse my mum and about 3 years ago he just suddenly left with no explanation, but that made our lives easier and we've been happy ever since" I weakly smile "oh im so sorry Lottie" Luke smiled pulling me into a hug "no dont apologize for my awful dad he can rot in hell for all I care" I chuckled as I put my hand on Luke's cheek "you know, being on tour made me forget how beautiful you are" he said staring me dead in the eyes but I am bright red at this point and can't think straight whatsoever "thank you Luke, it also made me forget what a charmer you are" I chuckled earning a little laugh from him "I missed you" he said out of the blue "I missed you too" "can i?" he asked staring from my eyes to my lips "you may" and as soon as the words left my mouth he crashed his lips to mine and we moved in perfect sync as I felt his cool lip ring on my bottom lip.
I pulled away to catch my breath as I was panting like a dog when luke spoke "that was great" he whispered against my forehead pecking my lips again "very" I smiled looking up to him "i wish I could be with you everyday Lottie" He mumbled deflated sitting on the couch, I went to sit next to him and cuddled into his side "so do I Luke but your going back on tour tomorrow night and I'll be here and I don't want to stand in the way of your dream because the band means so much to you," I smiled at him as he just looked down at me with sad eyes "yea but... I'll miss you" he looked down "yea I'll miss you too but we'll see eachother again I promise, I mean we met again tonight and we've not seen eachother for 10 months that must mean something" I said looking into his sky blue orbs "yea I guess" "see thats the spirit" I laughed "soo what film should we watch?" I asked breaking the minutes silence "ermmm do you have mean girls?" he asked hopefully "you bet" I winked as I popped the disc into the dvd player "yayy" he giggled opening his arms for me to cuddle into.

It's now 2:30 in the morning and Luke fell asleep half way through the film with me still in his arms with our legs tangled together, at the moment I was admiring him as he breathed softly, he had definitely grown up from when I saw him last, his signature quiff is a lot messier and his hair colour has darkened a bit, he's also growing stubble which is extremely attractive, I have to savour this moment as tomorrow normality kicks in..
So I drift off to sleep in Luke's arms.
