Writing Laine and Austin so many years ago was the catalyst to my future in many ways. This story encouraged me to pursue my Bachelors in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Now, one year post grad, educated, employed, and mildly content with the path my life has taken, I have decided to return to the characters that started it all.
Thea Bennett was my comfort character in writing this story. Her wit, her sadness, her growth, and her unwavering love for her sister was an inspiration then, and an inspiration now. So, 7 years later (absolutely insane actually), I've decided to explore her character and her story more.
