Chapter 21

"Nyufufu," the class beard Koro-sensei's usual giggle, what could he be up to this time?

"This month is the school festival!" He says more excited then most of us, in my time in Class A I remember that Class E never presented anything in the festival, more like they weren't invited to join.

I hear Terasaka sigh in annoyance, "We can't join the Class festival." He said disappointingly.

"Nyufufu, but this year we will." Koro-sensei said everyone's eyes going wide.

"This will also fill one of my dream, to become a play director!" He shouted, putting down what I suspect is the script.

"So who's Romeo?" Nagisa-kun asked, passing the script to the person behind him.

"Akabane Karma," I say, looking at the last page where the roles are listed in, the script was changed it wasn't like the original book, the word were more easier to understand.

"And Juliet is...." Koro-sensei says, reading the script. I guess people suspect it to be me since everyone is literally staring at me like food.

"Kaede Kayano," Koro-sensei continues, I sighed and put down the script in disappointment.

"Anyway we should start practicing, the gym has no people using it so we should practice there." Koro-sensei said leaving the classroom

As we entered the gym I just realized that this is probably my first play. Our director is Rio-chan for some reason, knowing her she would probably turn this to some kind of romance novel.

"Okay, everyone lets start!" Rio-chan said highly enthusiastic about the play.

I was assigned in being a maid in the play, though I still have to help the others in making the costumes.

I sat down and started sewing the costumes, "(y/n-san)~ How's the costumes going?" Karma-kun said entering the sewing room, being the klutz I am, I pricked myself, my finger started bleeding and Karma-kun also noticed it too.

"Hey are you okay?" He asked grabbing my hand and looking at it. My finger was bleeding a lot just from a prick.

"Yeah, I guess," I say, he still hasn't let go of my hand.

"Your such a klutz, (y/n)~" he says, suddenly sucking on my finger.

"KARMA-KUN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I shouted, blushing like a tomato.

"We need to disinfect it, tomato-chan~" He says, I grabbed my hand and started running to the bathroom.

"ILL JUST WASH IT INSTEAD!" I shout, rushing to the bathroom, in the corner of my eye I see him smirk, "pervert," I mumble, I enter the bathroom and started washing it.

Walking back to the sewing rooms mean walking past by the main stage, there I see Karma-kun practicing his lines.

"Romeo, oh Romeo, where fort out thou Romeo?" Kayano-chi says, Karma-kun appears out of nowhere and answers, "I am here my lady, have you been waiting?" Karma-kun leans into her and smirks, a new feeling was created inside me, jealousy.

"Romeo, we shouldn't, we are mortal enem-" Kayano-chi continues, Rio-chan sighed in disappointment.

"Karma you doing great, but Kayano you have to act, more don't be a brick wall." Rio-chan says, Kayano-chi looks disappointed as well. Not wanting to see more, I headed back to the sewing room.

"It is done!" I shout, looking at the costumes, I'm the one making Romeo's costume. To tell the truth, I'm not into performances, but I actually wanted to be Juliet.

"Ah, it's great (y/n-san)~" Karma-kun says, he got the costume and headed to the dressing room.

"So?" He asked, it fitted him well, more like it looked like it was made for him.

"It looks great," I say sighing, I'm jealous of Kayano-chi, I know that, but Kayano-chi is my friend which makes it hard to believe.

"Is (y/n) feeling jealous?~" Karma-kun says teasingly, I blush slightly.

"No I'm not!" I say, all he does is smirk, and without warning he kisses me.

"Heh~ Are you sure you aren't jealous, t-s-u-n-d-e-r-e-c-h-a-n~" he says, creating a new nickname for me.

"Pervert-kun," I answered back."

"Karma, we're about to start practicing again! Wear your costumes!" Rio-chan shouts, Karma-kun waves goodbye and I'm left alone in the sewing room, the only thing I can do is wait.

"See you tomorrow guys!" I shout, we start walking home silently.

"Karma-kun do you know where my necklace is? Its the one you gave me," I said remembering that I lost it.

"Eh~ I didn't see it, you can check my room later." He answers, he seems a little disappointed, I mean if I were him I would also be disappointed if a gift I gave was lost in one day.

He opens the apartment door for me and I rush to his room to find it. I look around and the only place where it could be right now is in Karma's shelf. I look under the shelf and see it, I extended my arm but I feel something else. I pull it out something and it was a box. I open it and see photos, I wouldn't have expected it but it was Karma-kun with another girl, I look into it deeper and find a letter.

Dear Karma,

I have been loving you for a long time now... I just want to see you again and talk to you privately to ask you in person.

Love, R.Y.

Teary eyed, I return all of it to the box and hide it, I get my necklace under the shelf and grasp it tightly. I quickly dashed to my room even surprising Karma.

"(Y/n), dinners ready." Karma-kun says knocking on my door. I pretend to sleep but I cant control my sobbing.

"She might be sleeping." Karma-kun mumbled to himself and left, was he.. cheating on me?

I knew it was oblivious that I was acting differently so that why I was by myself in the sewing room, sighing I grab the original Romeo and Juliet and started reading. Our play wasn't that different, just how we say the lines and our ending.

Its funny how even if we change the words, the meaning doesn't really change, what's important really was the feelings behind him. I can say words are really powerful also are actions, but what matters the most is probably still the meaning behind the actions and words.

I start crying and I feel choked up, I couldn't imagine a future without him.

"(Y/N), WE NEED YOUR HELP!" Rio-chan shouts rushing but her eyes go soft when she sees me crying.

"Whats wrong?" Rio-chan asks me, I don't know if it was the right thing to do, but I told her every detail.

"Are you sure about that?" Rio-chan asks, I shook my head no.

"Ill give you some time alone." She says leaving the room, I wipe my tears and follow Rio-chan.

I see Kayano-chi on the floor and I quickly rush to her. Rio puts her hand in Kayano-chi's forehead and looks worried.

"She has a fever, our play is 2 days from now, she cant be Juliet." Rio-chan says, as the class tries to lay her slowly on the stage. I quickly call the infirmary and she was sent home.

"Who's gonna be Juliet?!" Terasaka shouts, we practiced really hard, we cant stop now.

"(Y/n) can you be Juliet?"

Sorry for the short chapter! （ーー；）we have a session test coming up and well I kinda need to study! Anyway I really need comments for recommendation because I am kinda running our of ideas.
