I woke up the next morning. Lex was on the other side of the room quietly on the phone to someone.
"I know she's got to but at least you know where she is," she whispered, "I get it but. Luke, Luke listen. She's safe here. I'll bring her back tomorrow or later today. She'll be home by wednesday. I promise," With that she hung up. I pretended to be asleep still. She was on their side. I waited to hear the stairs creak and when they did I found my clothes from friday and slipped them on. I slipped out the house. I waked as fast as i could to the beach.
"Some things will never change," I whispered to myself sitting on the bolders in the shade of the cliffs. I watched the waves as the slowly engulfed the beach. The water lapped to base of the rocks and I was stranded for about an hour as the tide retreated from the beach and the sand dried of as the people came. People came and lounged eating ice cream. I was hungry but I wasn't going to get any food as I had no money. I shoved my hand into my pocket only to be welcomed by the crackle of paper. I pulled out my pocket an envelope.
If your at home right now don't open.
Emergency's only - Lex
I carefully opened the small envelope. There were ten ten dollar bills. I smiled to myself and put them all back in my pocket and stayed perfectly still. I didn't move from the rock. I didn't need to. I had money and I had so much more as well. More knowledge than they new I had. I clambered of the bolder and walked further away from civilisation. About three foot from the floor there's a ledge. I pulled myself up onto the ledge where there's a hole in the rock. I slipped inside and let my eyes adjust to the darkness. I walked falward seeing the outline of two caves.
"Left" I mumbled to myself walking falward. I kept to the left till the room was lighter due to a candle in the centre. I had no clue who kept the candle lit but it was here. Not many people knew this was here. I knew my way round these caves quite well me and my friends used to hand out here we always brought coloured chalk and flashlights for obvious reasons. I was sure we left a spare in this room. I fumbled through the countless boxes until I found a small red flashligh. I turned it on and it still worked.
I carried on looking through the boxes. I couldn't find the black book though. I carried on looking I was sure we had left it here. I finally found it in a chest. I carefully read it again. Blue. I had to follow the blue chalk to get to the other side of town. I quickly ran through the cave system sticking to the blue chalked path. I emerged as the sun set. This entrance was unnoticeable like the other. It was just in a small wood in a park we found it by mistake. I sat in the shade of the trees but it was slowly getting colder. I saw an unmistakably red hair. He was in the park with a girl. I couldn't see who it was from this distance. Mikey looked at the trees and pointed. They came closer and I went in further. We were always told never to go in these woods they were haunted that's way me and my friends came in here. To hunt ghosts. I heard a crack of a stick and I ran. I didn't know how big this wood was or if there was a way out this way. I came across a tunnel and went inside. I had no clue what it was but I could stand in it. I turned on my flash light and ventured deeper. I stopped at a metal grate. I set myself down and turned off my flashlight before closing my eyes.

"Is she dead," someone asked breaking through my slumber.
"No. She's waking up," someone else said. I opened my eyes and in fount of me stood three teens. Two boys and a girl.
