I've been debating whether I should finish Cleopatra the Vamptress, "I'M DEAD," and Greek Gods here. A part of me doesn't want to. So lately, I can confirm that the sequel to the Noble Anderson will be the last book of my time writing here on Wattpad. After that, I'm only going to read Wattpad books. But at the back of my mind, I feel that itch to repost Vamptress, Greek Gods, and "I'M DEAD." I don't know. It's probably because of the comments and votes left on them. That if I continued posting those books, it's the engagement I miss from this Wattpad community.
Besides that, everything else like book 1 of Sasha of Halos, and standalones like "Elina, Elina" and the Moment I Fell for Them will be finished. The big announcement is that I plan to take old story ideas and make them into scripts. The first goal is to self-publish the Halos Saga, maybe "Cleopatra the Vamptress," "Greek Gods," and others, I'm not sure. While the romance books such as "Elina, Elina," "The Noble Anderson," and "The Moment I Fell For Them" don't get published. Since "Elina, Elina" is kind of in the same world in the Halos Saga, I'm going to consider that world as an alternative universe. It doesn't exist. Only Elina will be introduced with her own lore.
The old cancelled story ideas from here will turn into screenplays. My end goal is to adapt and direct these stories. (I don't have the budget, so a girl can dream). I tapped into it for the first time, and it's fun.
The reason I came to this decision because as a writer, not everything has to be a book. As a writer, I thought I had to write books that prove I'm a writer of creative storytelling, when I was always drawn to visual media rather than books. Growing up, I struggled with reading books because I had a short attention span, didn't comprehend words on the page, and was drawn to TV.
As I got older, I enjoyed reading books. However, I understand certain stories need to be told in the pages and possibly on screen.
Reminder: Not everything has to be a book. Some stories may not work in a book. How I see it is if the character is worth being invested in a book. If their story feels like an adventure, it should be a movie. If it feels like a journey, it's a TV series. Or, it feels like one complete story of their life, then it needs to be a book (short story, novel, etc).
As I reflected on these past ideas, I realized some of them don't work as a book. For example, I started writing "Bone-Skull" as a script, and it works more as a movie script than a book. Other stories I started, like "Greek Gods," "I'M DEAD," and "Cleopatra the Vamptress," do work as books, but after a while, these stories weren't drawing me in and often felt like a daunting task. Since I had other stories I DIDN'T finish yet, everything felt like a chore. At first, I was going to get all the superhero ideas from this book and turn them into a short story collection. But... in my head, it doesn't work at all. I'm thankful to you guys for sticking with me on this journey. If in the future something happens, I will spill the beans. If not, I just want to say thank you for your time in keeping you entertained with these stories.
