Hello There!

Didn't think you'd see me again on this book, I am sure. I certainly didn't. But funny how things go—I was rewatching Once Upon a Time for the first time in forever and it brought my down the rabbit hole of coming back on here and realizing that Warrior is 10 years old!! (time is flying).

It turns out that I have parts of chapters of Warrior that never made it on this platform—mostly due to my choice at the time to turn the book away from romance and instead focus on keeping Peter Pan a villain. But with that said, I did dally into making Peter and Alex more than just rivals.

It was nice to see Alex again as I reread my work. I missed her off-the-handle remarks and chaotic decisions.

Find below my various snip-bits of chapters that I have since edited into a timeline for those invested in a romantic story.

With Love,

Alex POV

"What do you want, Pan?"

"Can I not just come by and say hello?" He asked, peaking through a curtain of branches. He sat on a tree branch idly fiddling with his musical pipe.

"Right. Because I am to believe that you enjoy my company—"

"I do actually," he said without lifting his head from his work. The silence that filled the conversation had him pause in time to look up at me with a smirk.

"Scared you, did I?"

"Me?" I questioned in a shade redder than before. "You acting odd is the least terrifying thing I know."

Pan lifted a brow before chuckling and pocketing his pipe. He jumped down from the tree and joined me on the path.

"I want you to do something for me."

"The answer is no."

I could sense Pan's frown even with my back turned as I started walking down the path back to my treehouse.

"You don't even know what I'm asking you yet. Why must you be so difficult?"

"I don't do things for you, Pan. I'm not an idiot."

"Then you just like teasing me then, is that it?" I felt his breath on my neck as he said those words in a whisper. I spun on my heel, expecting to see Pan's smirking face waiting for me.

But he had disappeared into nothingness.

Alex POV

The expert climbers were already a good distance up the tree by the time the not so good group had their feet off the ground. I couldn't help watching the way the likes of Pan followed by Felix scaled the tree as if it were a cake walk.

Pan's arms were longer than I had imagined and carried him up another ledge of a branch with little difficulty before finally swinging himself up on a sitting position, facing me down below. At the sight of me watching him, he quirked a brow at me with eyes gleaming with the confidence of a lion.

I scoffed and looked away.

A short time later

"Hold up. What if I demonstrated how to jump off the tree? Then would you all do it? Hmm Peter?"
